E Phone Connection Motorola APX4000/APX6000/APX7000 Quick Release Radio Adapter (EP-534QR-PTT)

I have gone through 3 of these. I still rate them at 5 stars because the only reason I had to replace them was the hook broke on my last two, but that was only because I had to keep switching from a cord mic to this one and sometimes plastic breaks. Now I always use the earpiece due to a uniform change, so my most recent one has been going strong. Definitely sucked having to spend half the price of a new earpiece just for this piece, but this is where all the magic happens, so of course it will be pricey. Fits great, no issues. Just be careful with the little hook if you have to switch it out.

I have been using this connection for 6 months on my law enforcement Motorola APX 6000 radio. No issues or complaints. Has been working perfectly. Will update my review if that changes in the future.

Great deal I purchased a few after I broke the one I purchased from a different company.

Bought this for my departments upgrade to the apx6000 radio. I already had a quick disconnect ear piece and like the quick disconnect so didn’t want to buy a whole new earpiece. Got it in over the weekend. Put it on my radio today fresh out of the package and nothing. Earpiece fit perfectly and it fit nicely on the radio but did nothing. No sound to earpiece. Neither my earpiece transmitted nor the button on the device. Looked at one of our issued whisper mics and realized this is missing a pin. At first I thought it was a defective part until I looked at the pictures and determined it was as exactly as pictured. I returned it and bought a different adapter.

Purchased to replace one I’d had for less than a year. The first one, the ear portion broke. Hopefully I get more time out of this one.Works great, necessary for quick disconnect for ear piece.

Replacement for a broken one...works great. It seems like the plastic might even be a bit more durable than the original piece.

Great ear pieace all in all. The little plastic retention clip has broken on me twice within two months of use, and each time the return date passes by the time it finally breaks. Expensive replacement as each unit is $45.
