This plug may be amazing, however they fail to make it clear that this plug will be limited by the cable that is used. I personally have just received this item and decided to test how quickly it would charge my phone by 1% since it's advertised as '3x FASTER' than other chargers, using Apples standard USB C to Lighting cable it took 6 minutes and 50 seconds for my phone to increase by 1% charge. For a £13 plug this felt like a bit of a scam. It has now taken 13 minutes and 40 seconds to increase by 5% total. I have purchased Ankers advertised: 'Anker USB C to Lightning Cable (6ft MFi Certified) iPhone Charger Cable PowerLine II for iPhone 13 13 Pro 12 Pro Max 12 11 X XS XR 8 Plus, AirPods Pro, Supports Power Delivery (Charger Not Included)' on here for arrival tomorrow to get this to work (£8.99). It's also important to note this is on a standard iPhone 11 and not a 13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max which have much larger batteries and would take much longer to charge. Oh it's also nice to note that the prongs which are plugged in aren't included in the dimensions of the product and it fits in your pocket like a normal apple plug. I thought this may have been compactible like some of apples products however these do not fold in.Too long didn't read: Standard Apple USB C to Lighting will not allow this plug to work on it's own. You'll need to buy another cable with it otherwise you'll be disappointed with it's charging capabilities compared to what is listed. 6minutes 50 seconds for the first 1% charged and then 13 minutes 40 seconds for 5% total. This was on an iPhone 11 not the newer 13 models with much larger batteries that will take even longer to charge without ANKER's cable (£8.99). The plug is advertised as 'Nano' however this is clickbait and a regular sized apple plug.*EDIT UPDATE: New cable arrived, I've since been using this charger and it does do what it advertises with the newly bought cable, I'm unsure if it will work still properly with the original APPLE cable however. This is due to when I charged from 0% this morning it charged to 50% in 32 minutes similar to advertised. My test when originally writing the review was a measure from 78% to 79% for 1% charge and 78% to 83% for 5% charge. I am actually quite happy with the product now despite purchasing the additional cable.

I bought the 30w Apple brick back in 2018, which was fast charging the iPhone and later iPad mini. This year Anker released this new charger and I bought it for the same purpose. iPad, iPhone, Anker usb-c power bank are all charged at the same faster rate as with the original Apple 30w charger, but in such a smaller package. The size of this Anker charger is basically the same as Apple’s 5w charger, but it’s so much faster. Perfect for travel too as it’s both lighter and smaller than 30w. You will have to buy a separate cable (same as with Apple charger), Anker cable does the job great too. I went for the longer cable this time - 2m. In summary would I buy this again - absolutely, would I have bought this instead of original Apple charger - in a heartbeat if it existed back in 2018.Edit:May will mark a year this charger is being used daily for quick charging the iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

Ok, I ordered this on Friday night and it was delivered less than 12 hours later the Saturday morning. Good start!I did a few charging tests once received.The first one was a 30 min charge. Started with a battery level of 10% and after 30 mins of charging the battery level had increased to 61%. Excellent!Second test was when I let the battery drain to just 1%. Plugged the charger in and after 60 mins the battery level increased to 86%. It took a further 51 mins to get up to the 100%. Even getting from 99% to 100% seemed to take about 15 mins. I think any charger takes longer to complete the final push from 80% to 100% so I’m not too surprised at that.I was using the Anker PowerPort PD2, but this new charger is far quicker if you’re on a lower battery level to begin with.I also already had the USB C to lightening cable which works fine with this new plug.Highy recommended.

Bought this fast charge plug to enable me to quickly charge my iPhone and it did the job very well then I thought I would try it on my wireless charging port and it was much faster than my original plug so I have left it on that so every night it charges much quicker as sometimes I have to get out of bed early due to my work so at least now I have a good charging plug and a full charge. And being A plug I can also charge my iPad and my friends android phones. Also if you register it to anchor they will provide you with a two year warranty and all the cables are also lifetime warranty as long as you register them.
