Quite expensive as not readily available in UK but does the job.

There is nothing wrong with this product and the Amazon process was good, as usual. What is wrong, thus the low rating, is the product description. It states, in the description, that this item is for use with wood, no it isn't..... The Dremel web site description, for the DSM510, says its good for softer metals, cast iron, plastic and plexiglass, the nearest it gets to wood is fibre board, it makes no mention of wood. Using this blade on wood could be dangerous because with the blade spinning at 22,000 rpm the damping / friction effect, of the wood, could / will cause over heating. The blade will be able to take it, after all its used on metal, but the wood can't thus it is likely to smoulder and could combust, partially hard wood. You would not use an angle grinder cutting disk to cut wood and this amounts to the same thing. Experienced people will know about this but inexperienced people may not and this is where it becomes dangerous. I am keeping the disks as I can find other uses for them but it looks like I'm down to hand sawing a lot of wooden boarding given the DSM500 disk chips the edge of the board!

Es la única herramienta que conozco que permite hacer cortes enrasados contra paredes (en parquet) o muebles (cortar estantes dentro del mueble). Ninguna otra sierra circular lo permite, y las oscilantes no sirven para hacer cortes que no sean de poca longitud. Permite ver muy fácilmente la línea de corte. Y al no tener dientes, deja el canto perfecto al cortar melamina, fórmica o similar. No se cuánto dura, de momento la he usado varios días (corte de marcos de puerta, melaminas, etc, decenas de metros de corte), pero no tengo opinión sobre si se gastará pronto como decían en algunas opiniones que leí antes de comprarla (la máquina entera, más este accesorio). Por ponerle una pega, indicar que hay que trabajar siempre a pulso, la guía no es nada útil, por pequeña, para hacer cortes longitudinales largos y que el corte salga todo recto
