Poor OCR scanning
I first read the book many years ago and waited for the Kindle edition to become available in mid-2014. Jon Cleary's words still paint the same pictures as they did when first published but the quality of the scanning into e-book format leaves much to be desired. The quality or lack of proof reading is evident in the strangeness of some of the words. For example, "died" repeatedly comes out as "thed", "ladies" as "lathes" and a number of other words also have strange substitutes. I pity any non-English speakers trying to read this.Come on, Amazon, if you're going to do something, please do it properly, or if you can't, why not reduce the price to what you've now made the e-book worth. The writing itself is worth 5 stars but it is badly let down by the translation into an e-book.

Great Booke Slightly Marred by Typos
A great read. Would have given 5* except that poor translation from paper format into Kindle format had produced an annoying number of typos.
