The diameter was too large to fit in my flexible vent pipe

they installed quickly into my black soffit and you hardly notice them - which is perfect.
cut hole, pulled flexible vent through hole and attached cover with clamp. fastened with two black screws though drilled holes. easy, looks great, and will never corrode.

I got for a random round vent we have in our family room. This we my second one the Plastic is weak andThis one already broke.

Does not fit well
Does not fit well with the flexible vent pipe when vent is on this slides off. Needs to be screwed

Good quality plastic… it has that little bit of softness and flex, not like the cheap brittle stuff. The big mesh is good, small enough to stop just about anything. It fitted directly to a short length of 100mm pipe from Screwfix.
