What material are these insoles?

I originally posted a review saying these were too hard for my feet, since then I have developed planter fasciitis again and bit the bullet and put these in my shoes, wonder of wonder they have given me a lot of relief and I am actually able to walk about relatively pain free. Forget my last review.
