Does the job but could do with being a bit brighter but that maybe my fault for buying the wrong one but the product is absolutely fine

Seems like a good product at first, but the first two I've tried have both started flickering after about two months (occasional use, lounge lamp). Once they start flickering, it gets worse and worse, so you have to discard them and fit a new one. So not very cost effective cw halogen bulbs which last years in the same lamp. Nice light quality though when you switch it on.

Ordered these as a replacement for 300watt garden halogen spot lights which they do & will be much more economical to run

These bulbs were purchased to replace Halogen Linear R7S 118mm bulbs in uplighters. However, the halogen bulb was narrow from end to end and fitting it was rather like fitting an AA or AAA battery. The LED bulb ends were similar, but the narrow ceramic channels on the uplighter socket do not accommodate the chunkier serrated cuff on each end of the bulb, as it needs to be pushed into the spring at the end one channel in order to embed the bulb at the opposite end. Obviously I can't comment on brightness or longevity, as I was unable to install the bulb.
