I have been wanting to replace my cloth sole tai chi shoes for a very long time and just did not want to go down to china town to see if I could find the right size. I actually had to look up the conversion from Chinese sizes to American sizes to get the exact size and I was surprised because I used one size larger Chinese than I had before and it actually fit better than my previous shoes I had bought in Chinatown decades ago and had trouble finding a size that large to begin with. So make sure you do the conversion correctly and you’ll have an excellent pair of cloth sole shoes

Buy your real cotton soled shoes from Pure Look. After reading many reviews about buyers are getting rubbersoled shoes from other sellers, one review caught my attention. He said if you want the cotten ones buy them from purelook. got mine 2 days later (gotta luvAmazon) and sure enough the shoes were cotton soled. Now about the shoe itself, it is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on. He also stressed buy a size larger than you normally wear. Well, that's my story. I ordered 3 more, I'll let you know on UPDATE IN A FEW DAYS.

My husband loves these. They are NOT non-slip unless you are on a rug or mat. The sole is cloth so only suitable for inside wear. He uses them for slippers and exercising indoors

I study Traditional Karate and these work for a little while, but when training up and down dojo floor, there aren't many shoes that can take much of that for too long? But these are nice and worth trying for your application. HAI

To be honest, this appear to be well made shoes. I ordered them because they are the few on Amazon that advertised cotton soles. The pair I got had rubber soles. Also if you are ordering them, I suggest a full size bigger than you would normally order.

Basic chinese canvas shoe. I just use these to wear inside the house as slippers and they do the job fine. Fit is just right and may be a little tight w/ thicker socks. I'm a size 11 and they fit fine, but I wear them with no socks. The soles eventually wear out and inside cloth will begin to rip away in probably 6 months if you wear every day, but can't expect much for a $13 shoe. This is my 2nd pair to replace same shoe I eventually wore out in about 4 months. If you want a longer lasting sole that you can wear outside and actually use for tai chi or to do your best Enter the Dragon impersonation - then invest in the rubber soled version. If you already suck at kung fu, these aren't going to make you any better :)

If you are 11in long feet and narrow this is perfect for you.

I bought these to use while training. They fit great but they are slippery on the mat. Still 5 stars cause they fit!
