Old School Volume 1

"You're the one for me" by DTrain. This song was very special to me. My husband and would be out and loved to play backgammon with his friends. When ever this song would come on he would stop what he was doing and dance with me. Awesome, by the way he is an amazing dancer.

This is the best of the bunch (to me, anyway)! I had all these Old School tracks in cassette tape format back in the 1980s, and since then, lost everything. now I got it back on a CD that I can listen to in my car, and can go back to those days of delight listening to these great tunes!

Excellent product and I really liked my expectation filled the qualify because everything arrived as requested I really I liked all the pretty enough to recommend to all the community through Amazon not change. would recommend vendor to other to purchase their much needed items, i really like the service and the products that i have received.

There is no shortage of CD's out there claiming to have the right mix of "essential" old school funk. Of course most of them have the same old jams and are predictable to the point of boredom. Old School Vol 1 is exactly what it claims to be; a selection of classic tunes and choice tracks from back in the day. After wearing out the grooves myself I recommend that this compilation is the one you should purchase if you want to remember just how great funk used to be (I mean Double Dutch Bus, Atomic Dog, Flashlight, etc) or want an intro to a genre that Dropped a Bomb on an entire generation. This one will keep the party happenin' for sure!

This is my second Old School Disc purchase and let me tell you these are Original Artists on these Old School Jams and I'm a huge fan, they bring back so many good memories of this music all my favorites on one disc. I have to buy some more volumes.

this cd brought me home. it been a long time since i heard my old school jams. i was glad i purchase cd and will continue to purchase more of the old school jam in the future. amazon you are the best.

I love the choices on this list of Funky music! If you want good retro classic funk to dance to or just listen to and smile really hard - this is the one to get!

Bought for one particular track, but it's nice to have a lot of my other tunes grouped onto one cd anyway, saves time in searching through my old vinyl!!
