I take this type of supplement all the time, so I can judge it on what it smells like, looks like and whether the effect that I take it for continues to be observed. I can attest that it is what it is supposed to be in that it is the right smell, color, and affects me in the same manner.What I don't like is the form that the supplement comes in. I have never seen this particular type of supplement pressed into a tablet before. It most always comes as a caplet. I don't like the table for two reasons:1) it makes a mess inside the bottle and out. Turmeric stains something terrible if you get it on your hands, clothes, counters etc. In order to take this, one has to handle it, and one's hands will get stained by all the residue along the inside of the bottle as well as by simply handling it.2) it seems to agree less with my stomach when taken in this form. I find myself getting indigestion from these when I have never had issues with any other Turmeric supplement. I will not buy again

I take turmeric for joint pain. I don't really know if it helps, even having taken it for several years. But I keep going back to it.This supplement contains both straight turmeric and curcumin extract, taken out of turmeric. Both are considered helpful in different ways for joint issues, though curcumin is more solidly linked to joint pain improvement in studies. The effective daily intake of curcumin extracted from turmeric is usually recommended to be 1500 mg. This supplement contains 100 mg of curcumin per capsule, with a recommended dosage of two capsules. So you will be getting about 15 percent of the recommended therapeutic daily dosage of 1500 mg, which is really not enough to test whether you are doing better with the curcumin. BUT it does include straight turmeric, of which about 10 percent is curcumin, and it includes pepper (piperine) which is supposed to make curcumin more effectively digested. So all-in-all, you might want to give this supplement a try, though if you've never tried curcumin before I'd suggest you go with a supplement with straight curcumin and piperine rather than a turmeric curcumin mix.

I learned the benefits of turmeric in the past year or so. I use it daily. It works great with just keeping my body moving and not as achy. I realize it is working when a miss a couple days. I have tried a handful of different turmeric supplements in capsule/tablet form. What I look for when trying a new brand is do my aches and pains come back.I have used this brand daily for about a week. This way I can easily say if it works or not. If my aches and pains stay away, it works. If they come back, I would question if it worked or not. In this case, these turmeric capsules work very well. No aches or pains have returned after the week of use.There are 60 tablets. They are about the size of the widest part of a quarter. I follow the directions and take 2 in the morning daily. A serving size is 2 capsules. It is a 30 day supply. It provides 1300 mg of turmeric, 100 mg of curcumin. 5 mg of black pepper extract ( piper nigrum, fruit and bioprene)One of my biggest questions for me was what is the difference between turmeric and curcumin and black pepper and Bioprene. I researched it a bit. I learned that curcumin is a naturally occurring compound found IN the roots of the Turmeric plant known as Curcuma longa. I learned that BioPrene is a patented extract from the black pepper fruit known as Piper nigrum. This has helped me in looking for turmeric supplements. I have also learned that black pepper helps with absorption. I look for turmeric supplements that contain black pepper/BioPrene. This brand has turmeric, curcumin, and black pepper extract that includes the piper nigrum fruit and BioPrene.All in all, very happy with this brand. It meets everything that I look for in the supplement and it works!

I suffer with chronic inflammation. Because of this, I suffer with body wide aches, pains and stiffness on a daily basis. While I do take medication when the symptoms are severe, I find tumeric supplements to be highly advantages in controlling the day today symptoms as a daily maintenance for it.Why I have only been taking this particular brand for about a week, I have seen the immediate results. I have noticed a difference when I am late taking it. I have a strict routine of taking it in the morning after I have eaten my breakfast and when I am late by a couple of hours, I definitely noticed a large increase in my joint pain and stiffness.As far as I can tell, this seems to be a reliable brand. It makes me feel more comfortable knowing that this is NSF registered and GMP and FDA approved. This is how I know that the ratios and ingredients included on the supplemental facts label is correct.This is a highly potent brand because each serving size, which is 2 capsules a day, gives you 1300 mg of organic tumeric root. I aim for at least 1000 mg per day in order for it to be effective for my needs so this definitely surpasses my nutritional preferences, which is a good thing.What seals the deal for me about this brand is the fact that this also contains 5 mg of black pepper extract, which is an absolute necessity for me when determining which brand to take. Without the black pepper your body cannot efficiently process and absorb the tumeric. The black pepper extract helps your body utilise the nutritional benefits to its full capacity. I never take a tumeric supplement without this specific ingredient in it because of this.
