Perfect companion to add Ethernet to Pi Zero
This works as expected with my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. It only supports 100M, but that's fast enough for my needs. While my Pi Z2W has built in WiFi, as I'm using this as my DNS server I wanted a hard-wired connection to ensure the highest availability.

USB Ethernet Adapter for tablets
I took a chance and ordered this adapter for use with an old Lenovo Tab 2 tablet. Plugged it in and it immediately worked perfectly. No drivers, no setup, it just worked. Check your settings on your tablet for an Ethernet option. The Tab 2 had one, and when I clicked it with nothing plugged in, it said "no usb adapter plugged in", so that was a good indication that it would work with one. It does.

worked great once i modified the config.txt and the cmdline.txt files.
I thought this was plug and play so i was annoyed initially when it wasn't working. You'll need to modify the cmdline.txt and the config.txt files on the pi boot sd card before it will work. Additionally you'll need to plug this into the USB port, not the power port. Once I had that all figured out it worked great.

This add on cable helps me to acquire wired ethernet connection for my laptop.

Works for speed test
I used this with a male to male eithernet cable to connect my fire tablet to my modem to check internet download speeds. My Internet provider wanted speeds from a tablet directly connected to the modem rather than wifi to troubleshoot Internet speeds. Worked great.
