Great for Raspberry Pi projects! Everything you need already made
I wanted a way to be able to have LEDs turn on/off via my Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. With the resistor already built into the LED cable, I could plug these directly into the GPIO pins and turn them on/off with software. Even though the GPIO pins are 3.3v DC, these LEDs are still super bright.

Made them into spot light
Very bright, easy to solider. Best deal, last for many seasons.Solidered these in groups of 2 on speaker wire solidered to a 9v power supply for spotlights on my Halloween displays. (Used a straw hot glued around light and wrapped in black tape.)Approx 20 of these on 9v power supply.
