Great job
Funny story kind of, So anybody ordering something like this is either having a problem or expecting one. In my case the problem had already occurred. Plunging made it worse. Most chemicals don't recommend use in toilets so I tried the granules that were made for toilets. Followed the directions perfectly and waited overnight. No goodThis thing was clogged, even my $260 power auger wouldn't work because it wouldn't make the bend in the toilet and I could tell that the clogged was in the toilet not the pipe. I ordered this tool and closed the door so nobody would use it and shut the water off to the camodeGuaranteed to be here by Sunday, Sunday came and went and no tool. Monday at 3pm I decided to go to the hardware store and buy one. Bite the bullet. Lowes had 2, 1 for 24.00 lite duty and the other 50.00. I decided that this was a big clogged so better get the professional grade. By the time I returned home my auger had arrived in the mail. But I was pissed off and vowed to send it back. Besides I had a professional grade auger now. Upon reading the directions and watching a couple of videos I proceeded to wind the auger into the toilet and about 1/2 way in it stopped, wouldn't go any further and wouldn't come out. Now I'm really pissed off. I finally got it out and it had broken the auger off of the handle by turning it forward and backward to get it out. It had a big clump of you know what on the end but now it was broken and unusable. I hesitate pulled out the Cobra product and tried again. This time it made all of the bends easily and I could tell when it hit the clogged. I just kept turning the auger and in about 2 minutes it was through and the water went down Amazing! It wasn't completely cleared but after pulling it out and reinserting it several times and continuously turning the handle it now is perfect . After the snowstorm that we're expecting tonight the pieces of the 50 dollar piece of junk is going back. This is now a good addition to my home tool collection and the price is right.

WORKS
Did the trick and saved me 100s at this point in just a few uses! Easy to use if a bit cumbersome. Get it and try it before calling someone, you'll save a lot of money if it works.

Handy to have around. Tube seems to be cheap plastic.
Always good to have one of these around. This does the job and works well if you're careful with cranking it. It seems like the plastic tube closest to the crank will crack if you crank it too crazily, if that makes any sense.

Very Good Toilet Auger
It is a good toilet auger for a house or apartment and it gets the job done for the low price. I have used the auger 3 times and it has helped clear the clog all three times. The trick is to grab the plastic housing and rotate the wire clockwise as you gently force the auger down thru the toilet and sometimes you will have to pump the auger up and down to snake it thru the toilet and force it thru the obstruction in the toilet but it does work. If there is a hard object stuck in the bottom of the toilet (such as a toothbrush or a child's small toy) then this auger will help bring the hard object back up into view where you can retrieve it with a pair of pliers. To all you non-plumbers, the goal is to allow the tip of the auger to grab the obstacle by rotating the auger clockwise thru the toilet and counter-clockwise to bring the obstruction and the auger back up toward you where you can grab it with a pair of pliers. That way, if there is a bath towel (for example) that accidentally fell into the toilet, then you can retrieve the towel without forcing the towel down into your piping system. In other cases (such as toilet paper) the auger will force it thru the bottom of the toilet and clear the clog - it all depends on what is clogging the toilet. If snaking the toilet doesn't work, then you may have to call a plumber or remove the toilet yourself and flip it on it's side in order to get to the obstacle at the bottom of the toilet using a pair of needle-nose pliers.I give this product 5 stars based on price vs performance. I wouldn't recommend it for heavy duty use but it is more than adequate for an average home or apartment. Just remember to be gentle with it.

Save Your Money And Get A Thicker Cable
I've used augers before, but the $25-$40 ones. This does not have as thick a cable as those and is not as strongly built. I thought it should work o.k. for small clogs of 3' or less, but I have used it a few times now and the cable just can't seem to get through the toilet pipe and down to the top of the S trap. The price is right but the performance is sub-par. Also, you have to push the cable down through the plastic tube with your hands, there is no turning a knob / screw advancement feature. That has it's drawbacks if you are disabled, have arthritis, or just don't have sufficient strength to push the sliding cable down into the source of the clog.I did get it to work somewhat, but have had a lot of trouble getting the cable to snake down into where it needs to go. It would either get stuck somewhere (not the clog) or the tip of the auger would double back into the bottom of the toilet. I sort of got it though once and was able to turn the crank and it did help to partially clear whatever was blocking my toilet. But subsequent times trying to use it have proved disappointing. This may work for you for small, shallow clogs - i.e. clogs before or at the top of S curve of a toilet. If you have a clog that is larger or deeper down into the pipes, this will not perform adequately. However, for only $6, I suppose it is certainly worth a try.Update 12/13/2021: My slow draining toilet finally stopped up completely. Ended up buying an $80 General Pipe Cleaner 6-foot auger and that and lots of prayer did the trick. It was expensive but worth it. My toilet is old so I got the drop-head model and that made the difference in getting it down into the pipes.

Seems flimsy but works
It works when nothing else does to clear a clogged toilet, thank God. It’s a bit flimsy and it’s not really possible to turn the handle but it gets the job done. I only wish it were cheaper or part of subscribe & save because I end up having to order a new one every couple months - let’s just say I am NOT cleaning that thing for reuse, it goes right into the dumpster!
