Crescent Nicholson 3 Pc. 6" General Purpose File Set - 22015NNN

It is unfortunate that at this price point, I received files that were not even flat. The quality has diminished a lot. I started to use these to sharpen an old Snow and Nealley axe head from the 50's and just threw them in the trash. The files I received were made in Brazil. I would not recommend them.

These are good files, but you used to be able to get a good set of 4 nicholson files from the store for $25. I'm not sure why they have gone up in price so much. They are still good, but not better. As they go up in price they will start getting into the range of much higher quality files and I imagine they will lose their reputation. But if you ever come across any of the really old Nicholsons, be sure to grab them.

Good set of files. Good addition to the tool box.
