Fresh and yummy!
The boxed version of the chocolate chip, corn flake, marshmallow cookie is a lot smaller and softer than the store version. I like this cookie a lot, as the flavor is the same. But I LOVE the store brand version of this cookie. I added a photo of the store bought cookie purchased at Milk, in Las Vegas, at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, on the second floor (see thru pkg). I included a photo of the one I ordered on Amazon. My order came with 3 boxes of delicious cornflakes, chocolate chip, marshmallow cookies. So I gifted a box to my mom. She's a new fan of my fav cookie! They were fresh and yummy.

Vile
I recently had fresh Milk Bar compost cookies, and they were so iconic and unforgettable I wanted more. The prepackaged drugstore landfill cookies sold here are inferior in every possible way.TEXTURE: What’s special about the compost cookie is its complex bite: chewy and soft and crunchy all at once. There is a uniform mealiness to this pathetic knockoff. In a two cookie pack you’d be hard pressed to find a single spot with some crunch or texture of any kind.TASTE: Fresh Milk Bar compost cookies have a lovely contrast between the boldness of coffee, the sweetness of chocolate mini chips, and the saltiness of butterscotch/pretzels/chips. The shelf stable pack sold here lacks any flavor contrast, and is dominated by large chocolate chunks. In a blind test you’d never know this product has anything other than chocolate and maybe coffee.Everything good about the compost cookie is lost in this banal, depressing knockoff.Christina Tosi, the dessert/branding genius & founder of Milk Bar, made the original recipe; I’m truly surprised she was willing to put her name on these! I wonder if she’s tried them.It is maybe worth shelling out for the real thing through the mail. But the pathetic cookies sold here are a hard pass. It’s a solid nihilistic joke that the innovators of something so iconic and good would produce the most vacuous, dull imitation, but bitter irony is the one ingredient that should not go in a compost cookie

Yum!
I love these cookies!I wasn’t expecting them to be like their bakery cookies, these are for snacking! I went into it knowing it’s a different kind of cookie so I didn’t compare them to their other ones I’ve tried, I was super happy! They’re chewy and crunchy and flavorful. I could eat all three boxes in a sitting. Now I can get these for when I want to snack and get their online/bakery cookies for when I want to go all out. I just have more occasions to eat cookies!

They're good! But...
First of all, Amazon gets 1/5 stars for poor packaging - Shipping three retail boxes in a thin plastic bag isn't great. 2 of 3 packages came destroyed, thankfully, cookies intact. For the cookies, they're good, but they do not seem to match the flavors & texture of the pre-packaged Cornflake Marshmallow Cookies I've purchased from Milk Bar before. These have a very similar taste and consistency to Chips Ahoy! Chewy cookies, which is a bit disappointing. Worth noting, these cookies are about the same size as the Chips Ahoy as well, but you get two per pack, which is a nice little treat. That said, I probably won't by this exact product again, unless I'm at Milk or getting an order from them directly - this retail version leaves something to be desired.

A little pricey but very delicious cookies!
The cookies tastes amazing. Tastes fresh, soft as described, and tastes like a soft brownie! Each package comes with 2 small cookies, but they’re stuck together and can’t be taken apart as the cookies are very soft and easily breakable. The cookies are smaller than expected but the flavor took the reign. These cookies are a bit pricey for how small they are, as you only get 4 packages per box (1 order comes with 3 boxes) but I’d still recommend this as it’s one of the best packaged cookies I’ve ever had.

Yum in my tum!
Peeps! This dynamic duo pack of cookies are a sweet little treat. I love everything about these yummy round unique cookies. They are the cousins to the OG Milk Bar cookie and are a perfect size (they shouldn’t be compared). I love sneaking a pack for me and sharing as a fun thank you for kids, friends, and randos doing good in the world. The fun packaging is perfect as boxed gift or individual favors dress it up with a bow or don’t! Remember to sneak your own and enjoy! Love that they are shelf stable.

I expected a lot better
I was expecting a premium cookie that tasted at least as good as Tate's. These cookies were packaged nicely but they were all present and no gift. The actual cookies tasted like generic brand chocolate chip cookies. They were not even as good as Chips Ahoy. They are soft cookies which is ok if they are done well. Unfortunately these were not. Was a taste test done on these before launching the product? I don't understand why Milk Bar would sully their reputation with such poor quality. At this price point it's not hard to make a great packaged cookie. Many companies manage it for half the price. I tried both chocolate chip varieties and they were equally awful. The chocolate confetti was marginally better but still had that cheap cookie taste. I'd be embarrassed to give these as a gift.

Not Worth the Money - AVOID
I have purchased many cookies directly from Milk Bar (and love them) and was excited to try these. Not even close! Stale, hard, no unique flavor. Buy a box of bland cookies, let them get stale and you will have the same thing at a much lower price. One of the wrappers was torn inside the box. Waste of money and very frustrating. I wish I could return food items. I don't usually write reviews but these were that bad!
