Lasso SKC5200 Kong Cable, Black

Fantastic lock. Very high quality, very east to use and set up. Most importantly...very secure if used properly. In the summertime I travel everywhere with my boat. The lasso not only keeps my boat secure but gives me piece of mind so I don't have to worry where I parked. Jusr a tip: To make sure you setup your lock propperly, once you think your all set, spend 15-20 minutes trying to steal your own boat. If you can't get it off your car... then no one else can either. This is a great product. I would and have recommended these to friends.

Lock won't fit through scupper holes. Doesn't work on a dock locking a kayak up to a free standing rack.

I bought this cable, and right from the start, I had trouble with the locking mechanism. The key will turn in the lock just fine when it is apart, but once I put both ends together, the key will not turn at all, so I am unable to lock it. Very disappointed!

I am travelling across Canada and have had my cable strapped to my kayak the whole time. I truly believe that people realize how strong the product is and don't bother with trying to steal my kayak. The other great thing is that my straps failed that were securing the kayak to the roof, had I not had the Lasso Kong Cable on my car, I would have lost it.

Great way to secure a kayak in transit or just along a river bank while you take a hike to survey the next whitewater challenge. The only Kong challenge was that the instructions came in French. You need to download the instructions for English for the model Kong that you purchased (there are different ones).
