My Dad (92 yrs.) lives in a assisted living place. He has beautiful maple trees outside his patio. With those trees, comes squirrels. He has come to love them and has always fed them peanuts. Years ago, I decided to get other food for them such as hazel nuts, pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc. Then I saw the squirrel food and had to try it. Well, took it to my Dad's and threw some out for them and they didn't go after it at all. They would eat all the other food I'd put out but not the "squirrel" food. Hummmm? What's with this special squirrel food they won't eat? Well, they did start to rummage through it all and took a few nuts here and there but mostly left it. I give it a 1 *.

Very small like half the size of a pumkin seed. My squirrel will not eat them since the seed inside is so small.

I mix it in with the Corn & sunflower seeds. The Squirrels love the Pumpkin seeds.

My squirrel Rascal shows up daily for breakfast and dinner. She loves the Chuck-A-Nut with a few peanuts on the side. She must enjoy it or she would not come back
