Works Well
First, I like that you have the option of a windshield or cup holder mount. It seems sturdy and allows you to clamp everything down well. It's not telescoping as far as height, but it works for me. Viewing my iPad mini in a horizontal position seems to block the gear shifter. However, putting it in the vertical position works well in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It also allows me to still use the other cup holder. I took some pictures, but it appears Amazon does not allow me to attach them to the review.

Major design flaw
I really like this mount, the cup holder locks into place really well, but the connector between the articulating arms and the tablet holder is built backwards, not allowing it to latch into place like it should. Someone didn't pay attention when they made this. Very disappointed, as that could make the holder bounce off when least expected. Had the latch been placed in the right direction, I would easily give this 5 stars. ***EDIT*** After about two weeks of use, the gears inside the cup holder mount stripped out and this became completely useless. I didn't bother buying another. The design idea was nice, but cheap parts killed this I think.

Perfect for work
I bought this for my work IPad. I drive around for a living. This was exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly in the cup holder in my Ford 350 cargo bucket truck. It's pretty sturdy so when I type on the iPad it doesn't really move which is nice. I also have a Griffin survivor case on it which is relatively large, it fits in there with room to spare. It comes with two sets of "claws" to hold the iPad, a large set of 4 and a smaller set of 4. I used the larger set. What's also nice is the mechanism that twists and tightens in the cup holder making it really snug, strengthing the whole tablet holder. It also comes off the base for the cup holder. It has a suction cup that enables you to mount it to the windshield or any other flat surface as well. I've had it about 3 months now with no issues however my friends broke in about three months. I guess it's all how you take care of things. I'd say this was worth the money and I would definitely buy this again.

It works as intended
After looking into many, many different tablet holders, I picked this one thinking that it's expanding cup holder base would create a more stable platform. Overall, it works pretty well. My chief complain is that in my car (2005 Honda Accord 4 door) when I put it in the cup holder and set the tablet in where it is horizontal and facing me (10" Dell Latitude Essentials tablet) the height of the tablet/holder does not clear the ebrake handle. Based on the pictures, I thought it would have been a bit higher. I remedied it by simply taking an old large plastic cup and cutting the bottom out where I could then fit the mount into, hence raising the level by about 7 inches. The only problem with that is that the stability of the holder (a big part of my decision to get this one) is compromised and it wobbles. In cars without console hand brake style ebrakes I'm sure this would work perfectly. But due to the orientation of my console, I knocked this one star. The "arms" that come with it for 7' or 10' tablets are kind of cheap and could be done far better without increasing the cost. I also agree with the other user that it is limited in orientation given its lack of adjustability. It does however, serve the purpose.

I really wanted to like this ... but has (2) design flaws
I really wanted to like this item. The materials and workmanship appear to be first-class. The functionality & adjustments operate better than expected. The tablet-grippers expand from 7-1/2" to 9-1/2" (using 4-long-legs) The elevation & swivel-ball adjustments work well. The suction attachment mechanism is very secure. The cup-holder part clamps with a steady & firm grip. But unfortunately, the device has two design flaws : (1) has a Wobbly suction-mount (flat-disc) on top of the cup holder part; definitely not "Vibration Free" (2) the "dual T-Tab-Head" does NOT completely & Securely attach to "T-slots in Cradle-part"; although unlikely, the "cradle" could unexpectedly detach from the "swivel-head part". And finally it fits poorly in a '07 Camry due to interference with shifter and blocking other cup holder ( w/ 7" tablet )

Clever product; poor manufacturing
Clever design, both the way it adjusts to fit a cup holder and the way it adjusts to fit a tablet. But... The adjustable arm and the tablet holder are supposed to lock together with a simple, sliding dovetail fixture. On the item I received the parts didn't fit; not even close. I'm guessing they either changed a piece of the manufacturing process or their quality control is non-existent. It took me close to an hour to resize the slots in the tablet holder, which were too small. Would have taken less if I had the right size bit for the Dremel. I finally got it to "sort of" slide in with the help of a rubber mallet. Sure hope I never need to take this thing apart. Incidentally, fits an iPad Mini quite well. I should have sent it back because I really don't like being the quality control department for the manufacturer of a product I actually had to pay for.

Works with 12.9 iPad!
Great mount for my 12.9 IPad with a protective case. Held up both with the cup holder and suction mount out at sea on a boat with no problem. Love it.

Do not buy. Product is shipping with the wrong parts!
Check the reviews from the last month. The product is shipping with parts that cannot be assembled. You can chop up the plastic yourself if you have the right tools, but it will not be as secure as it should be. And of course, you should not have to hack at it at all. Also note that the product does not come with instructions, so fitting it to you tablet takes trial and error. Finally, be aware that the holder is not really adjustable nor universal, you must pick the correct combo of tabs to hold your device. There is no gripping force.
