SizzixBIGZ Dies, Cathedral Window

Love the Bigz dies they cut wonderfully and work with thicker material. This cathedral die is so versatile.

This is one of the deep dies from Sizzix, designed by Tim Holtz to cut through thicker media. The die cut in the photo was made using the Cathedral die, a Grafix CB121225 Medium Weight Chipboard Sheet, and the Vagabond 2 (although the Big Shot or Big Kick would certainly work as well). It's been painted with some Dina Wakley acrylic paint.One of the things I really love about this die is how well it'll coordinate with the 'church-y' Layering Stencils by Tim Holts: Ironwork, Deco Arch, and Script. I can't wait to sit down and play with them all!

Useful and attractive cutter with lots of possibilities. I have made watercolour paper and stencil versions so far for positive and negative effects.
