I had a small, plastic clamshell case that was super light and narrow. It was the perfect size for my reading glasses. Unfortunately I lost the case very recently. So I came hunting on Amazon for durable, lightweight and lined glasses cases. When this one arrived, I compared it to another I’d ordered and this one is superior, by a long shot. I travel extensively and need something both functional, secure and lightweight enough while still being durable. I carry a very small travel purse that has to maximize its ability to hold the essentials, and still zip shut. The first photo shows it inside my bag. 2nd is sunglasses and 3rd are reading glasses. I think I’d best order another!

My third purchase of this aluminum case. They are very sturdy, and so much better than plastic or vinyl cases. I would caution folks that these cases will not be suitable for large styles of glasses. They will fit medium to small glasses. I like them because they are small, easily fit in a pocket or bag... and are sturdy as heck.
