Directions not the clearest. There are so many pieces, my 7 year old grandson could invent some very creative aircraft and vehicles.

Mine was missing have a dozen pieces. Nothing critical I was able to make do but took a little away from it. Other than that it’s fun and exactly what you’d expect

Was a little skeptical because was not your name brand set but this did not disappoint. Pieces fit appropriately and comes in storage tote. 8 year old loved this set

Yes, these blocks are fully compatible with Lego. A keen eye can spot some color differences and closer inspection reveals they are not a simple casting of Lego blocks. It seems there is an injection point on at least one stud per block. And they do not have the LEGO stamp on studs. The interiors have differing ribbing.This set is GREAT. There are lots of mechanical-type parts to experiment with. Unexpectedly there is also a bunch of things for Lego figures to hold. Lots of guns, a few different types of grenades, shovel, headsets (headphones with a mic), flashlight, ... I'm not sure if I missed those in the description. But those alone really made my kids day. He followed the instruction which look exactly as legos do (all blocks depicted correctly and even the modern ?cornflower blue? background is present) And he's been using his imagination to build all sorts of little vehicles now.This is a wonderful set especially regarding the price and adds a HUGE variety of bricks and Lego hand helds for any kid interested in building mechanical and militaresque things.

This is a cute set and the pieces lock together well, however, the first set we got was missing a TON of small pieces. Most of them were for the inside office space (lamps, chairs, etc). My 9 year old was pretty upset considering he purchased this with his own money. We returned it and a replacement set was sent and it was perfect! It turned out well and is a really cute set!

While this is cool once it is built, the instructions are pretty confusing. Also, you can build the aircraft carrier OR the other smaller boats, not both. It would be difficult for a kid to put together alone IMO.

I really enjoyed putting this kit together. I'm not a big fan of robots so didn't assemble it, but had a blast assembling the individual little cars. The pieces fit together perfectly. Not too loose or too tight. The instructions were easy to follow, though I would say a young child may need some assistance. Love the fact it came in its own little tub. My favorite is the yellow excavator because it really spins around like a real excavator would. Very well done!
