Nice fan, just what I was looking for. I bought two, easy to install, quiet, circulates the air well and I think looked nice. One came with a shattered light cover, but was replaced by Hunter very quickly and without any hassle.

They look good and they spin at a nice speed. They are also quiet, I bought 3 of them.

This is a great fan at a great price. Easy to install as a replacement for an existing fan. I added a wireless remote to it. It's super quiet and keeps it breezy.

The Swanson 52 inch New Bronze ceiling fan does have good looks. Not too fancy and not too basic. The pull chains operate smoothly and as intended. Installation is straight forward and does not require an electrician if you are replacing an existing ceiling fan. The 3 fan speeds are slower than I prefer. The high speed is about the same as the medium speed on another ceiling fan in the home. The slower speeds does make it a quiet fan to operate. On high there is low noise from the air being moved but not from the motor. On low there is a barely audible motor hum that some people may not hear, but it is so slow a fan speed you will not feel any breeze and is just barely enough to gently circulate the air.

The quality of the fan is really great with no disappointments there. The instructions are minimal and not sequential. Got to think of what comes next. Be sure to check your ceiling fixture to be certain it is able to safely support a 10 pound fan. Mounting to Sheetrock would be scary. The fan runs totally quiet with no motor noise at all.

Fan speed/airflow leaves much to be desired. Speeds 1 & 2 are useless. Speed 3 is equivalent to speed one is other fans.I ordered 2 fans and both perform the same. Installation was easy but performance is not great.Both fans arrived in one Amazon box. No visible damage to outside of Amazon box. The packaging on each fan was in perfect condition and yet the globes in both fans were broken. I contacted Hunter Customer Service to ask for replacement globes for both fans. Initially I only recieved one and after more communication have been notified that they other globe is on it's way. As of this review, the first globe arrive in perfect condition and the second globe has yet to be delivered.Hunter Customer Service was professional and courteous.Overall, I chose to purchase Hunter because it is at least in part made locally, but the overall performance will weigh in my future decisions. I have 11 ceiling fans in my home and still need to replace 9. Big investment.
