Well worth the money
Excellent product. I have a tendency to be cold in 60 - degree water and these really made the difference for me. Usually having to put Vaseline on my face and feet during the cold open water swims to tolerate such a cold environment was a bummer. Now these bad boys saved my freezing feet. If you are thinking about getting these, do it. Well worth the price. After doing research on the best bang for my buck, these were highly recommended by well known swim magazines, consumer reports, and highly recommended by swim mates.

Not warm enough in cold water. Durability is so so.
I bought a pair to swim in unheated pool during winter. My feet get cold pretty quickly within the first few minutes, and went numb after swimming 45minutes. I have to wear a short 3 mm neoprene sock inside this Blueseventy sock to keep warm enough for a 45 minute swim. The sock stays on well. I wear the socks inside my wetsuit. The bottom starts to peel a little after swimming for 1 month everyday. I don’t walk on land with the socks, only walk in and out of the pool and gently kick off the wall during lap swimming. To be fair, I should mention that I swim 200 laps every swim/day. So the socks start to peel at the bottom after about 6000 turns/laps (again, I don’t kick or push hard). In comparison, they are much more durable than the other cheap neoprene socks on Amazon that got dime sized holes within 2 weeks of same use. My main complaint is that these socks do not keep my feet warm in cold water. I have just bought the thicker Zone3 thermal socks, hope they perform better.

Really does the job
These really do the job in cold water. I swim 1h in 50 degree water and although my feet are not warm, they are not cold either. Good protection against the rocks and branches out of the water.

Minimal protection against extreme cold
These may work fine for a triathlete training in water 60 degrees Fahrenheit or above, but for extreme cold they don't keep my feet warm. I'm now down to swimming in 56.4 degree F water and my feet are cold in the water and very cold when I get out.

Perfect for triathlon cold water
Excellent for cold water swim. I just finished an Ironman 70.3 in very cold water and these worked fantastic. Did not fill up with water and although they did not keep my feet toasty they definitely took the edge off. Highly recommend for cold water swimming.

Good fit
Thermal swim socks arrived on time and fit perfectly. I ordered a small and wear a woman’s 8 1/2 shoe. Bought them for open water swimming but with shelter in place and closed beaches, I haven’t tried them yet.

Comfortable
These were perfect for a mid 60s swim in a reservoir. Also cushioned my feet when running from the swim exit to T1

They work well! Quality!
Love these socks. Wear inside my 5mm cold swim booties for 33 degree swimming in lake

These socks feel comfortable on and don't impede swimming
These socks feel comfortable on and don't impede swimming. They are great for having a sounder footing getting into open water, protecting your feet from sharp stones too. The only reason I've not gone for five stars is that my feet still felt cold, less quickly, but still cold. Having said that, I'm pleased I got them and they certainly help to keep things comfortable for longer.

Everything I could have asked for
These are well padded so even with sensitive feet you can walk around in them. The sole has a rough finish which helps prevent slipping if you’re going through mud or snow to get to the water. And they are really warm! I have been using them in water temperatures between 4 and 7 degrees Celsius.I was unsure if they would fit, but size small is just right for me (European shoe size 38). When the water was particularly cold or I wanted to stay in longer, I put them on over wool socks and they were still comfortable.
