A Life Saver!
After a year of struggling to regulate my blood sugar with medicine and traditional dieting and having little to no success, I was more than ready for this book. Anita Lesko lays it all out for you. I was hesitant to go total Vegan, but I had tried everything else with no success. I took the plunge, followed the book and I feel so much better. It took a while for my sugar to come all the way down, but it did come down and is normal once again. It is so empowering to know that what I eat or don’t eat holds the key to how I will feel.I am loving my vegan food and enjoying the easy prep. I especially love the recipes Anita shares. My whole family loves the food made from A Food Revolution!I feel like I have a new, healthier lease on life, because of this book.

Why you should read and re-read to understand the total health
First of all, it is an incredible book in many layers on how we see food in isolation, what we fail to see food in what their undercurrents are, why we go with someone's needs are and not your own needs. and how our health systems are interconnected. There are some reasons why it is not known to us before because it needs to come through firsthand experience backed by medical science and research which exactly the author Anika brings in with her worldly experience through the lens of an outsider, insider, starter, learner, and transformer, a medical practitioner with result proven methods. Hands down the best book where a lot of detailed, complex health information is made easy to follow and quickly graspable.

Anita has a very interesting and entertaining way of writing - easy to read for a non-reader like me - something i can relate to on every page - bottom line is it inspires me to do better and gives me the tools to do it
