Fun and Relaxing
Codewords has replaced my previous obsession with an on-line word game. I enjoy Codewords because of the surprise element. I stare at the puzzle for several minutes and think, “This is impossible.” Then, I find that one clue that leads to all words falling into place. These puzzles help me relax by keeping my mind occupied on the puzzle. I am on my second book and several friends and family members have tried Codewords and also enjoy the puzzles.

The "Codeword" books are "English" word based so not for me. Only Codeword book that's really good is the Brain Game one with wire spiral binding. If you don't care, then the Codeword brand is definitely a challenge to figure out the un-American spelling and words you've never heard off

Doesn't use all the letters on any of the puzzles
No "Q"s, no "Z"s in most puzzles and usually 5-7 other letters missing. Very weird words in many puzzles. Try one with all the letters used.

Doesn't even come close to the British codeword puzzles in complexity, interest or ingenuity. A waste of paper.
