Blends well!
I’ve been using this collagen powder consistently for about four years now, and it works exactly as expected. It’s become a regular part of my routine for supporting my skin, nails, and joints, and I’ve been happy with the results. One tip: I always pair it with a vitamin C supplement because that helps boost collagen absorption — definitely worth considering if you’re serious about getting the most benefits. It mixes extremely well, especially in hot or warm liquids like coffee, tea, or cocoa, with no clumping issues. It’s also pretty neutral in taste, which makes it easy to add to different drinks or even recipes. Overall, a reliable collagen product that blends easily and delivers consistent results. I plan to keep repurchasing.

Slightly bitter in coffee, but well worth the price and results!
Taste: Most have said that this has no taste and breaks down easily. I haven’t found that to be true. I tried putting it in juice, and it was clumpy. So instead I put it in my morning coffee, and it made the coffee a little bitter. At first, I thought it was because I was getting over a cold. But then I actually made a cup of coffee the exact same way with and without it, and tasted the bitterness. The vanilla is slightly better. That said, it’s not terrible. It was just slight. As for results: I’ve always had thick hair, strong nails (except for after I gave them gel painted), and supple fairly wrinkle free skin (for a 49 year old). I’ve been taking this supplement for about 8 weeks now, and the one thing that I’ve noticed is that my hair doesn’t break off in the shower anymore. I have very little hair in my hairbrush too. And less “frizz” at the top of my head (my hair is naturally wavy), particularly with break offs. Plus- I sleep fairly soundly and in in the same position throughout the night. And often woke up with a backache/neck ache. I haven’t changed anything about my bed or pillows (wanted to see if this product was worth it or not). And the pain is virtually gone. Therefore, I’d truly call this result successful. So- if I could, I’d give 4.5 stars for the slightly bitter taste, but 5.5 stars for the results. It’s super cost effective, with another brand with essentially the same ingredients costing twice as much as this one! Thus the reason for the full 5 stars!

If you’re going to buy it & use it, the best on the market.
Okay, so this is the best one I’ve used. Dissolves completely, zero taste, soooo many aminos, vitamins etc in it. Low calorie & has protein. I do love the Sports Research brand for most of my supplements, but i highly recommend this brand for collagen. Has grown my hair & nails so much faster than others. Great amount for the price & quality. I’ve repurchased 6 times. HOWEVER, if you aren’t going to be consistent- no collagen is going to make a difference so actually use it if you’re going to buy it & want results. If hair thinning is something that you are really concerned about- use with nutrafol. I’m a licensed cosmetologist who unfortunately suffers from lupus so I’m combating hair loss from medication & health issues in general. It works. It’s also a great way to get extra protein in esp first thing in the morning w your coffee. I’ve added it to tea, water, electrolyte drinks, & yogurts. Fantastic.

Pretty good but doesn't have a few ingredients I need
I've been using a popular brand for over 3 years with amazing results, you could say I'm addicted to it. However, the price on that brand has risen with it's popularity so I went in search of a similar brand that was less expensive. I found SR and read the reviews I landed on one by them. After I received it I realized it didn't contain hyaluronic acid or vitamin c, which my other brand did. I had opened the canister, so I decided to try it rather than waste it. I did have some vitamin c powder so I just added that in with it. I don't find this as creamy as my other brand but it blends better. My nails are staying stronger and my hair isn't shedding so I know it's doing it's job. I have the other product by SR that contains hyaluronic acid and vitamin c in my cart and will try that next.

Noticeable Improvent In Joints and Skin
I've been using collagen peptides for 7 months, and this product for 3 of those months. Before i get into my review, here's some backstory so you know where I'm coming from. I'm a 45 year old male, 6ft, 205 lbs. I never drink, smoke, or take any drugs or pharma, and avoid artificial preservatives in my diet. I love to lift weights (6 hours per week, mix of light and heavy), and do 1 to 2 hours of cardio and yoga per week. I don't go hard on cardio or stretching, just what's needed to keep my heart and mobility healthy. I also get outside and hike for about an hour a day. I'm fortunate to have a job that involves talking by phone and have close access to a gym and trails, which is what makes all this possible. I limit my sitting time to no more than 5 hours per day. This is because 6 or more hours of sitting per day is shown to damage testosterone and vascular health in men. I started out with two mild problems: recurring inflammation and slow recovery in my right patellar tendon (the big one that goes over the knee), and above-optimal systolic blood pressure (around 135 to 145, while 110 to 120 would be better). I started taking collagen to improve recovery in my knee, and reduce the number of breaks I had to take from lifting. I tried several different ways of mixing it, including mixing with water, juice, and ice cream. This, and the other products I tried, mixed just fine. Ultimately I started mixing it into the oily fish I've been every morning for breakfast. It dissolves easily in just an ounce or two of room temperature water. The consistency goes from straight liquid water to a gel, about the consistency of hand sanitizer. This is true of every collagen product I tried. I noticed after about a month of taking collagen that my knee and elbow joints recover faster from heavy lifting sessions. Instead of needing 3 to 5 days for full joint recovery, I only need 2 to 3. I also noticed that the usual slight tendon soreness I had after a yoga session would be gone in a couple hours instead of lasting the rest of the day. As a result I can do more and harder workouts. I had previously gotten my blood pressure down from the upper 140s to upper 130s. Since making collagen part of my daily routine It's come down another 10 points, into the 125 to 130 range. Not perfect, but healthier. I don't know if it's the collagen per se, or just being able to exercise more frequently and intensely. It could also be the added omega-3s from the fish, or effects from cutting out artificial preservatives. Or less stress from staying single, lol. I didn't expect improvement in my skin, but that also happened. My skincare routine consists of washing with unscented baby shampoo, using unscented Aveeno during the day, and organic coconut oil at night. This has been my dirt-cheap routine for years. A family member I hadn't seen for 6 months came to visit last week. He told me I look younger than I did the last time I saw him. I've always looked somewhat young for my age, but even people I've known for a couple years are shocked now when I tell them I'm 45. In the past people would estimate my age at 3 to 7 years younger. Now they're estimating 10 to 15. This isn't a benefit I hoped for--recovery and mobility were and still are my objectives--but wow, I'll take it. Here's why I prefer this product over the others I've tried: Taste--it's virtually flavorless, which I vastly prefer Smell--I can't smell it Granularity--The granules are about the size of large sand particles. The few times I spilled it cleanup has been easy. Solubility--As I described above, the product dissolves quickly in a few ounces of water with little to no stirring. Price--This product is priced comparably to others, but because it's easy to work with and never unpleasant there's virtually no waste. The recommended dosage on the container is 20g per day. I take half that, 10g per day, and still am getting great results beyond wat I expected. I tried it at both 15 and 20 g per day, but didn't get better results. I of course recommend talking with your healthcare provider before taking any supplements and adjusting the dosage to what's safest and most effective for you. For cost, convenience, flavor, and effectiveness, this is best collagen product I've tried overall.

Blends well and vanilla taste great
After a kidney and pancreas transplant, I started noticing changes. My hair was falling out because of it becoming brittle, my nails were breaking more easily and my skin just didn't feel the same. I was advised a collagen powder could be added to my routine and so I started the hunt. Previous powders were a no-go because they either didn't blend well, turn into jelly or left the strangest aftertaste. I was advised to try Sports Research and it was love at first scoop. I throw it in my morning coffee and it blends well along with the vanilla replacing my coffee creamer most days but sometimes I throw a splash of flavored coffee creamer to mix with the vanilla and it tastes delicious. I've been using Sports Research for about a year now and my hair feels fuller, I'm trimming my nails every week and I've been told I've got my glow back for my skin. It's definitely a must try!

The best collagen peptides
I started taking these collagen peptides in 2025 and I’m now on my 5th bottle and wow, what a difference! I’ve never had long nails in my life, but after finishing my 3rd bottle, I started noticing real growth. Now my nails grow so fast that I actually have to trim them regularly. They’re stronger, healthier, and don’t break like they used to. I’ve also noticed my skin looks more radiant and healthy, and my hair feels stronger too. The results didn’t happen overnight, but with consistency, they’ve absolutely been worth it. I also take other products from Sports Research and I truly love them all. The quality has been consistent, and I feel confident recommending this brand. I recommend this to everyone at the gym and honestly to anyone who wants healthier hair, skin, and nails. I’ll definitely keep repurchasing!

Good collagen, great matcha flavor...but I am having fishy burps.
I've only been using this for a few days so I will update this review once I finish this container, but for now I will do a partial review. I have tried collagen twice (other brands) in the past and both times I had to stop because it made me very nauseated or have lower GI issues. I'm allergic to certain types of shellfish (mollusks) so I have to avoid collagen that contains shellfish. I thought this would be a good choice because it's peptides and 100% bovine and I love the flavor of matcha green tea so I figured I could just add this to my green tea I brew each evening and enjoy. The first two nights I used half a scoop instead of a full scoop. The third night I used 2/3 of a scoop. Every single night I have burped multiple times after drinking this and it tastes fishy -- which is weird since it is not supposed to contain any fish. I'm also burping a lot the following day. Prior to starting this collagen powder I have not burped in years unless I have a Pepsi or Coke and then I only burp once or twice when I first start to drink it, but the rest of the day/week I wander around burp-free. Not anymore! I will go ahead and finish this container since that is the ONLY side effect I'm experiencing thus far, but I will definitely be on the lookout for a different brand of grass-fed bovine or possibly chicken collagen for my next collagen purchase. Other than that, there is no noticeable smell other than the matcha. It dissolves pretty well in my hot tea, but I should probably start stirring it up in the future because tonight's cup had two large gummy clumps of powder. There is also no noticeable taste other than the matcha tea flavor. Since I ordered the Matcha Green Tea variety the color was the appropriate matcha green shade. I like that they utilize the same container for multiple portions. I ordered the 10.2 oz and it came in a much larger container (which will come in handy later for other items) and was a little over half full. I noticed several people complaining that their container was only half full but they also ordered the 10.2 oz size and the container itself is large enough to hold at least 24 oz or more in volume. Since I've only used it for 3 days I cannot address how my skin or hair or nails are doing yet, but I have noticed my nails appear to be growing faster than normal.
