Truly one of the better books to explain this journey on prep work through to the end. I found this to be one I will read again.

I'm an RN. I've worked on bariatric floors and surgical ICU's. My professional and personal opinion is that this book is phenomenal! The explanations are spot on and easy for anyone to understand. Dr. E answered the most important questions. Definitely informative and enjoyable!

This is a good book for anyone who is considering weight loss surgery. I like the fact that a lot of topics were covered, I wish there were more detail in some of the topics regarding what the surgeries are like, however I thought the author did a great job of summarizing what people can expect in general and then talking about specifically what takes place in their practice. I had already done quite a bit of research before I read this book so that was not a lot that was new, but I still found it useful and informational.

It is shirt but really answered my questions and the answers matched a lot of what I saw in my research. I will feel much more educated in speaking to surgeons in my consultation after reading this.

Quick read, organized well, and very informative. I felt more prepared for my journey and answered a lot of questions for my support person.
