What's the best way to cook this rice?

I just make it 1 part rice to 4 parts water, add some chicken bullion paste (better than bullion) and pepper. Cook in a rice cooker until it clicks off. perfect every time.

Will the rice split open after sokeing for a few hours?

I never soak my rice but, I understand it takes 24 to 48 hours of soaking before the rice opens. If you soak it be sure to keep it refrigerated and change the water every 12 hours or so.
