This is a lovely bright light for reading or sewing etc. Easy to recharge. Very useful.

With rising energy costs, I decided to fight back, my plan give these energy companies less money the more they increase prices. So I decided to change life style and turn this situation into a positive, read more books, watch less TV.I wanted a light that did not need the mains, as I switch electric fully off by mains when not using electrical products.I wanted a light that did not have a built in battery, which would mean battery dies product is fit for the bin.This product although only arrived today seems to fit the bill.It takes 4 batteries, which you fit yourself, or you can keep batteries out and go USB if you wish.It’s bright from around 2 feet on full power, easily bright enough to read a book in complete darkness.It folds up small, so is good for traveling.Only two things I would like to see changed if they made a version 2Separate control for power levels, as it is press once low light, press again medium light press again full light, press again off. Very least a separate on and off switch.The USB is a great option but it connects via a dedicated cable with a round connector to plug in then USB on opposite end. What would have been more practical would have been a double USB given the option to use any USB cable, Cable is 41” just over 3 foot.I bought this after replies from previous buyers when I asked if it was good enough for reading books, shame there was not an option to thank them as there advice was spot on.

I bought to use when working on my model kits and so far this little lamp has worked very well. I use from the mains (with the USB adapter supplied), so I don't know how long it would work on batteries. The light is compact but bright, is very adaptable, and also fits snuggly into my tool box when not is use. Highly recommended little device when a larger lamp is not needed. The brightness levels can be adjusted and is a very handy feature.

The usb cable has stopped powering the lamp. This is after 1 month 1 week!. Worked fine before this happened. Poor quality fittings or connections! Would like a replacement cable but there's no way to contact supplier directly! Purchase as does provide great bright light, but stopping working so soon is not acceptable.

I received this yesterday the 21st of February 2024. It is a lovely because it folds up when you are not using it. It is rechargeable but the down side of it is in order to use it after it is charged up you have to leave it plugged in to use it that way which is a shame you can't un plug it to use it with out being left with charger cable being taken out. I have had to resort to placing batteries in it to use it to make it more portable to place it wherever you want to. So very disappointed it has to be left with charger cable in . Just aswell you have the option of putting batteries in. Other than that it works lovely . I bought two one for my desk the other for my night stand next to my bed.

This is a great little lamp good light when on high. Would recommend very good price
