Worklight SS3 Sport White SAE Driving Standard Pair Diode Dynamics

I would like to start by saying I initially received the wrong lights. I had ordered the white SS3's but received the yellow. After a few messages via Amazon Messages with Diode Dynamics customer service team, they resolved this by sending a replacement while still allowing me to use these until I received the correct lights. Now the product: these are replacing KC G34's, and the SS3's are far superior while being quite a bit less expensive. Favorite feature is their wiring, which make it much easier for installation than any other light IMO. Highly recommend any Diode Dynamics products.

I drive in dark rural areas that lack street lights and have tons of wildlife running around. The high beams on my Hyundai Kona are just adequate for regular driving but lacks the distance of a proper driving lamp. Initially I installed a generic led light bar behind the grill of my car but the light wasIn more of a flood type pattern. This gave too much foreground lighting which actually reduced my distance visibility and would lead to a temporary, but dangerous “dark-out” when it was shut off (I assume my pupils were constricting due to too much foreground lighting).These diode dynamic driving lights have a great rectangular beam pattern that really gives the high beams a nice boost. I installed these so they trigger on with my brights (dot legal) and they do not disappoint. The pattern of these lights remind me of the old school round hella FF halogen driving lamps. Definitely recommend these for high speed driving in the dark.The mounting screws are stainless steel and good quality. As a benefit, they are made in the US!
