You can change it from Blue to Green and then a Yellowish color. It's pretty cool!

Do u need crystal to work this POS

No Chrystal needed. It comes with one for display or light up in the saber handle. Only one can be in the saber hilt at a time though. So the blade is in and Chrystal is out or vise Versa. Hope that helps.
