My cat had an area on his back with matted hair, that started with some tree resin that got stuck. I was very unsure how to proceed without hurting him and did nothing for too long. Every time I was trying to go near the area with our usual brush he would jump away.This brush took car of it in less than half a minute. He did not move. It was like I was brushing his normal hair, but it was gently and effectively cutting away the matted hair. Amazing!
