Glad I bought them!
This has been a good product for the price so far. About 3 weeks ago my favorite headphones went out (right side stopped working and would crackle when it did) so I searched for a replacement. That model was about 5 years old and couldn't still get it today. So I ordered some toshibas. They were awful. One side would never connect in the box to charge. Sent those back. I always keep a cheap pair of backups just in case so I was stuck using my $20 backups from Marshalls until I found a better pair. Then I dropped those. Tough week for headphones. So I ordered these because I could get them next day. Blue color was cute, price was good, reviews were good. So far they have met all my expectations. I have used them about 8 times. Battery has never died on me, and I will use them for about 2 hours or more on a single use. I have been pleased. Battery life seems to be slightly better than the packaging indicates. So that was a nice surprise. Sound quality is fine. Nothing special so if you are very picky about that you might be a little disappointed but not much. One minor complaint is that the highest volume setting isn't nearly as high as any of my other headphones. I suppose that will keep me from losing my hearing but if you like it really loud to drown out terrible movies in the cardio theatre room in your local gym like I do, you might want them to go louder than they do. Comes with 3 sizes of ear pieces and they have been very comfy. One last thing - I do a lot of cardio and circuits, and have used them doing jump rope, burpees, high knees, running sprints, and general jogging and not once did I have to stop to reposition them to keep them from falling out of my ears. I think these are a good staple model to have as a regular option for workouts. I am thinking of ordering a second pair for my husband.

JVC stands by their product
JVC Gumy Truly Wireless Earbuds Headphones, Bluetooth 5.0, Water Resistance(IPX4) Do not underestimate these headphones jut because of the $30 price: as basic as they seem, they are an excellent purchase for anyone who is budget conscious and looking for better than fair sound in a set of ear buds. I found the sound to be really good, and although the controls take a little time to get used to (basically, one or a series of clicks on one or another of the two buds), once you get used to the routine, the results are always flawless. I had a tough time keeping them in my ears while jogging, so for me, they are not really great for working out. They are really awesome for listening to music from my Apple Watch and phone: pairing is easy and never fails, and they do not hurt my ears in the way other brands did. I did have a problem in that my buds got soaked in the rain and when I placed them in the charge cradle, all of the charging lights began flashing non-stop and I could not get them to charge. I was honest with JVC - I told them I dried them best as I could for several hours and they told me they would contact me with a solution in 15-days. Much to my surprise, a new set arrived in the mail 4-days later - no questions asked. The second pair has taken a beating for 4-months now - they are still working just fine. You cannot even get a decent meal for $30 these days - these headphones are under-priced, sound good, come with an awesome charging case, take a beating, and sound really good. The product description is accurate and JVC stands by their warranty - no questions asked, no hassles. I bought second pair for my spouse!

Almost perfect, but occasionally flawed
Assuming everything goes well, these are a 5 star pair of headphones, no question. I have had 4 pairs, and I make sure that I always have at least 2 at any given moment. I listen to audiobooks a lot, and I don't want to be without quality headphones. Also - I have a keen ability to lose headphones, so ... Anyway: The good ------------- - Super comfortable - the only pair of earbuds I've ever had that I could just put in my ears and forget about. Once in a blue moon, I'll need to adjust them, but not too much. - Easy to charge and charge lasts a long time. Both the earbuds and the the base hold a long charge and the base can be reused multiple times before requiring charging. Earbuds snap easily into base. - When all is well (which is mostly), the sound quality is excellent. May not be loud enough for some listening environments, but they're fine most of the time - even when I'm vacuuming, for example. Audio is rich and faithful to what it's playing. The Bad --------- - I have had occasional problems - but they were all localized to one pair or another. What I mean is that if a pair works flawlessly, they never have bugs - thats's two of the pairs I've owned. - 2 other pairs - With one, the right earphone can only be heard at whisper level. With the other one, the bluetooth connection is choppy if I keep my iPhone in right pocket (weird I know). - They are not really noise cancelling, but I set a high bar for noise cancelling. I can't hear my wife when she tries to talk to me, so that's good enough for me. I can hear other things though. Overall, I will continue to buy - and lose - these until something massive changes. The same reason I'll never buy Oakley or Maui Jim sunglasses is the reason I'd never buy Apple or Bose EarPods. They will disappear from the earth quickly. But for my purposes, at this price, these are perfect. They are the best I've ever owned.

These fit and work great
I admit that I have never been a fan of wireless buds. They all seemed too heavy and -- maybe I have malformed ears? -- but they never stayed in. So it has been wired buds for me for years. I happened to read a review for the JVC Gumy that specifically mentioned their comfortable fit and light weight, I decided to give them a try. Glad I did because they fit so well, that I kept them in for almost my entire workday without any problems. And I had no difficulties with the sound quality, even in the car with the window down. I have to add that they have a remarkable charge life ... but that may also be because I am not constantly on phone calls.

I owned the same ones before but seemed to misplace one of the buds, (which is one of the downsides of owning detachable earphones) and as these were the best earbuds I ever owned, I looked for the same ones online as they weren't available in-store any longer. I found that Amazon had them but for twice the price I had originally paid for them. I bought them of course as this certain brand is sturdy and reliable. I've always had excellent experience owning JVC products. These earphones are not disappointing either. The components like the charging case, are also dependably made. The charge time also lasts long, although haven't tried the earphones for a long distances, and charge the earphones whenever their not in use. All-in-all it has not disappointed except the fact that it's one of those products that seem to be going extinct.
