Scancounter T210 Wired Meter Remote Counter

I had this meter before and it broke. I think the battery just ran out of power. It is unfortunate that this model has a lithium battery that cannot be taken out of its casing. I tried to by breaking the seal and re-soldered the points and put an external battery. Unfortunately it didn't work, the LCD worked but it was a constant "0" reading. I ordered this new one on Amazon and the company who sold it was very good. They actually called me and left messages for me and when I returned their call, they asked me if I needed help with installation and wanted to know how the device is to be configured (it has to be configured by the seller as to the amount of water flow such as by the gallon or by the 10 gallons). I screwed in the existing wires and viola... it worked.
