Well i bought 1 of these 7 months ago. I connected it to Outback Power 4KW inverter. I power the house with this setup just allowing to run 3 ton ac, lights and 4 small refrigirators. So far so good. BMS works well, protects battery. The 4KW inverter is under power for the house so inverter is constantly tripping. Battery keeps up well. I have seen it deliver 75Amps constantly when AC turns on. Tech support is great. Some prior comments said no support. Company is in Paramount, CA so u need to call afternoons if u r in easter time. Well packaged, instructions manual is good. Seem high quality so far. LCD gives u more info than u actually need, like cell temp and voltages.

I took a leap of faith and pre ordered this unit, first I was expecting this server rack battery to ship around Oct 25, So it was really nice to receive it way early. Shipping was fast and product came packaged excellent in a wooden crate with no damage, once I opened it came with a pair of 5 awg copper wire about 5ft in length with ring terminals for you to size and crimp yourself, a communication cable and manual. I was totally blown away from the features the ExpertPower 48V 100ah server rack battery has for the price, Display is awesome in showing you all the vital info like voltage, SOC, Temp etc, This also has a Main switch to turn off power, This system works perfect for my application, I also have a EG4 LL v2 server rack battery and If i would of come across the ExpertPower first I would of not bought the more expensive EG4 LL battery. These batteries have been running non stop for 5 days no issues so far. I've been running off grid for weeks now and with this additional server rack battery will help for those cloudy days with no sun.

good battery and price point like you can check battery condition without using a phone, would be five stars if expert power would answer there phone, just have a question.

No documentation came with the battery. No explanation of the ports or how to parallel the batteries if you want to run more than one battery. I was considering buying a second battery but probably will not without the documentation. As expensive as these are I would not want to blow them up not knowing if I installed them correctly. Requested documentation from Expert Power but have not heard back from them. If they extend the warranty to 10 years as stated, they are a good value especially with the free shipping.

The battery appears to be working, it came very well packed in a wooden crate, and was wrapped in a seperate cardboard box as well, Fedex knocked the hell out of this thing during shipping, there was no visible damage to the crate, but when I opened it and removed the battery you can see the damage in the photos. I like the build quality of this battery and the fact that it survived the Fedex delivery. Time will tell if the battery is functioning properly, but all indications are it was not damaged, once my Inverter gets here I will update this review. The folks at Expert Power have been great so far.

great battery if you don't every run it down. I used them for lights in my barn and had an accident that required surgery and the lights were on running the batteries down. I had three 48v 100ah batteries that lost their charge. I contacted the supplier and they sent me a charger, when that didn't charge the batteries they said it was the inverter that cause the batteries to fail. I contacted the inverter tech service and they assured me that this was not an inverter problem. expert shut down all my commutation so now I have $3600.00 of almost new batteries used one time setting in my barn.....

I bought three batteries and the 6.5 kw inverter. It seems like a decent product but there is no support. The instructions were not even for what I bought. I’ve called and emailed but no one there to answer the phone. Mail box is full also.I would consider buying from someone else. Before you buy anything, call first to see if anyone even answers.Update….. after I was able to contact them, they were very helpful. They answered all of my questions. Turns out, one of my batteries is bad. They provided a return shipping label and I should get a replacement battery in a couple of weeks.All in all, I changed my stars from two to five based on the support after talking with them.

These batteries are wonderful. I have a pair of these units wired in parallel. Each has about 100 cycles over three years, and they are still carrying me through 10-hour power outages.Also, ExpertPower's customer service is awesome. They were kind enough to give me documentation of the RS485 protocol implemented by the units. So monitoring is easy if you are comfortable writing code.Well done, guys. You build a good machine.
