Velvety texture and superb flavor!
I've been getting more and more into homemade chocolate chip cookies because I'm tired of paying $5+ for a decent one. It did feel like I was splurging a little but so far these have been my favorite. They really elevated my cookies with their rich flavor. They were a lot better than store bought chocolate chips, even for nicer brands like Godiva. The discs being larger than the usual chips meant I can chop these and still get chocolate chunk cookies without having to first melt the chips AND THEN chop them. In the past I've melted down a bag of chocolate chips and added some ground coffee and salt to try and match the flavor from cookie shops and coffee shops, but I don't feel like these need that at all. I highly recommend these and will be trying them in many more recipes!

The BEST in chocolate
I use these for so many things. They are great melted with strawberries. I chop them up and use in cookies and brownies. Sometimes I eat them all by themselves. The absolute best tasting chocolate by far.

The gods have smiled
Love these nuggets when my local store stopped carrying bars of Valrhona I was desperate. I found these. Yummy. I snack on them as a bedtime treat. But they are meant for cooking. So smooth. This French chocolate is hands down the best.

special selection of chocolate in specific area
a little bit sour within the flavor and also not so sweet. more tasty with Guanaja not so fruity than Tenori or so flowery than Caraibe. goes better with fruits dries.

They're just what they say.
I use these for a choc. chip cookie recipe which calls for "feves" but these might be too large. In any case they're delicious and everyone loves the flavor.

Do not melt properly for chips
Years ago, I obtained Valrhona feves that I used in chocolate chip cookies. They were awesome. Ever since, the feves I've purchased did not melt correctly, in fact it's more accurate to say they melted too much. Chocolate chips should hold their shape, not flow over the cookie onto the pan, etc. I'm sure it's something to do with tempering, but I'm not going to try that. These feves taste great, but melt too readily.
