Junghans Max Bill Automatic Bauhaus Sapphire Crystal 027/4009.02

I was looking for a new watch for my nieces wedding a got this. Great looking minimalist face. Was reluctant to spend this much on a watch but after a month of wearing it I have no buyers remorse at all. I put a mesh band on, just my preference. The leather strap it came with is very nice. Normal I like a nice open back but the bauhaus building is very cool. I have a 6 1/4 wrist and feel it fits well on a smaller wrist. Ran a little fast when I got it but a quick adjustment using timegrapher and it’s within a few seconds a day now. Love it.

I have over 20 watches in my collection and this will certainly be in rotation. Works well on my 6.25" wrist. Only issue is the strap is longer than you would expect for a 36mm dial. Ordered a custom stingray leather strap from Finwatchstraps. Another favorite point about this piece is how easily the date can be read, really stands out.

I was beyond extatic when this watch came out. It's everything I love about the Max Bill, with added details that make it irresistible not to buy(red accents, brushed aluminum case, Bauhaus tribute on the case back, sapphire crystal, etc). I Absolutely love this watch, and it will see tons of wrist time. Even my girlfriend who isn't into watches complimented the elegance of this watch and it's eye catching simplicity and domed crystal. The delivery from sportique as well was top notch. They overnighted the watch to me a day sooner than Amazon. My only complaint is that I didn't do business with sportique directly.

In my opinion, the Max Bill is the epitome of a classic design with clean and elegant lines. It's basically a dress watch but can be worn as an everyday watch. The thin bezel makes it look larger than it really is but at 38mm it's actually smaller than average and will wear comfortably even on thin wrists like mine.

Ich habe die Uhr wegen ihrem zeitlosen, schlichten Design gekauft. Leider ist die Automatik kaputt gegangen. Garantie kann nur beim Verkäufer direkt geltend gemacht werden, alleine der Versand als Wertsendung ist dabei mit Schwierigkeiten verbunden (zumindest aus Österreich). Ich empfehle die Uhr nur bei einem lokalen Fachhändler zu kaufen, den man im Garantiefall auch viel einfacher beauftragen kann.

Die Uhr wurde leider sehr kleinteilig und mit kyrillischer Bastelanleitung geliefert. Ich verstehe das nicht. Steht Herr Bill oder Herr Junghans auf Putins Gehaltsliste? Unfassbar…
