I really liked this concept as soon as I saw it a barrel an old spice barrel I watched it for about eight days I knew I was going to get it well before that so it now sits in our bedroom pride of place going hi look 👀 at me and I do blatantly and sneaky peeking 🫣 The captain scent is also very nice having had it bought for my birthday day last year so combining these two items with a great price while restocking my supplies was and is a no brainier Old spice original will always be my favourite but the captain runs it a close second I’m happy Ps I’ve also seen the must have chest and the emergency tin here we go again 🫣😊😉

But what does the aftershave itself smell like? Well, its a very fresh, blue, shower gel scent. Not like Sauvage/ BDC/ Dylan Blue, which are louder and more synthetic than Captain. This is an aquatic marine frag, like an invigorating ocean breeze. Think more Jaguar Pace but with marine notes. I actually love it. Longevity isn't beast of course, given its aftershave concentration. But I still get a good two hours with 5 sprays. If this was a 5 hour scent, it would defo be signature worthy. The shower gel and deo push the projection, and I think in summer, performance overall will improve greatly. Worth the £15. Recommended. (It's a splash bottle, so I've decanded into a spray bottle using large plastic syringes, both of which can be bought on Amazon).

Perfect gift for someone who likes old spice, barrel was really nice as I bought a ‘chest’ old spice gift box and it came in a wooden box nothing like a chest. However this is exactly as described.
