G.I. JOE: The Complete Collection Volume 8 (GI JOE COMPLETE COLLECTION) Hardcover – January 12, 2016

These are great! I'm so glad they finally collected the original Larry Hama run in deluxe hardcovers. My only gripe (which is reaching), is that I wish this volume had included issues 77 & 78. That would have truly collected the entire Cobra Civil War story in one edition.

Each of these volumes are perfect in every way! Volume 8 is no exception and has the amazing Cobra Island storyline.

I must say right up front that in general I LOVE this ongoing series collecting all of the old Marvel Comics. There's only one problem, and it's kind of a big one... this volume fails to include issue #9 of Special Missions. For a series of [expensive] hardcover collections entitled "The Complete Collection", this is an unforgivable oversight. This is easily a 5-Star series otherwise, but I've contacted IDW via email and their Facebook page a number of times since the release of this book and still haven't received ANY reply giving a reason as to why Special Missions #9 was omitted. Sure, I can hold on to my old copy of SM #9, but that sort of defeats the entire purpose of investing literally hundreds of dollars in the ultimate, comprehensive G.I. Joe Hardcover library. If IDW ever decides to address this issue [by either reissuing a corrected version of Vol 8, or including the missing issue in Vol 9], I will happily update my review from 1 Star to 5 Stars.

Highly recommended! Keep these volumes of classic Marvel GI Joe comics by Larry Hama coming!

They forgot that history in the previous volume and here is still absent.

Came as expected in the condition I expected. I look forward to future purchases.

The missing history might be in volume 7, but it isn't.

Love it but books have increased dramatically in price??
