Successfully demagnetized my watches
Worked fantastic. Bought it to demagnetize a couple automatic watches I have. Mainly an orient bambino that was running a whopping 55s fast per day. The other was a laco augsburg running 20-25s fast per day. Both of them are under 10s/day now which I consider a success. Well worth it.

It does work.
It works. I had a SEIKO 5126 that was +5000 sec/day. After the first pass, it went down to +200 sec/day. Just follow the instructions on the Amazon product page.

Complete Garbage - SAVE YOUR MONEY
This is the 2nd one purchased. First one didn't work at all so returned it for a different "brand'. When I say brand, I mean that the box says something else, but it was identical to the first one. This 2nd one "worked" once and when I say it worked, I mean that you could hear a buzz, which at least gave the illusion it was doing something. I was not positive that my watch was magnetized in the first place, but the time difference was increasing with each check, so I figured I would try a demagnetizer first before exploring other possible issues. After the first use I am now pretty confident that my watch IS now magnetized from the demagnetizer itself since the deviation increased over 40% from last check. I went to use this new one again to try it a different way but now it doesn't work at all and of course it is past the return window. Just a light and no sound whatsoever from the transformer again, just like the first one. It is wildly apparent the quality checks on these products are nonexistent. While they are cheap, they are still a bad value for the money since they are about useless. If you were lucky enough to get one that consistently works over time, congratulations! Otherwise, stay far away from them. Also to note, there are 0 instructions included on its proper use so you will need to read other comments or do an internet search on the best way to use it. You will likely see multiple opinions on how best to use it and most of that is likely just trial and error. This product, sold under several different brands but is one that Amazon should remove. On a last note, since there are no instructions, I wonder how many that purchased just assume it is doing something simply because the light illuminates and they don't complain or return since the cost is generally well under $15. "Professional" watch demagnetizer... I wonder what the non-professional version would be like ..just wow!

It worked just fine
Used this device to demagnetize my automatic Citizen Promaster, and it did a good job at the first attempt! When I saw my watch gaining from the typical 7-15 seconds a day (that's within the movement specs of -20/+40 sec/day ) to about 2 minutes a day, I suspected it was magnetized. That was confirmed by checking the watch with a compass and a smartphone app.Once I got this device, instead of following the instructions, I simply put the watch on top of the device, about half inch away, pushed the button and held it for about 5 seconds. Then I slowly pulled the watch up, away from the device, and released the button when the watch was about 8 inches away from the device. After that first attempt, the watch was already fine (confirmed by the compass and app), but I repeated the same process two additional times, to demagnetize the watch even more. It's now back to gaining no more than 15 seconds a day :)Note: please make sure to check your watch before trying to demagnetize it, because if it's not magnetized, you risk to obtain the opposite effect (magnetize it)!

It's doing what it's supposed to
It definitely seems to be doing it's job, unfortunately magnetism is either not the reason for my watch going slow, or this takes a finesse I lack. I've used a phone app to check the magnetic quality of an object, using this tool to both magnetize and demagnetize the object. The phone app shows there's a change taking place within the magnetic field of the object (the object is the metal shield of a Bic lighter) I may be pulling the watch away too fast, or too slow, or it's simply not what is causing the watch to run slow. Anyway I'll give it a few more tries before I call it quits.Update: so it corrected it pretty good but I'm still losing some time. It's a lot better than it was before.

Didn’t work on magnetized Rolex running fast
Powered up and all, came with no directions but I researched plenty of videos online . Attempted a handful of times over two days for my mechanized autowimd Rolex (which was running fast when I took out of deposit box). The watch was testing as magnified, but after every which way to correct, the product didn’t fix it
