This product very nearly caused a fire in my home never mind killing my poor reptile by uncontrollably over heating and being so so hot it has burned me and melted itself along with damaging my brand new viv. It was being used on a dimming thermostat but still heated way too much. This was the first time I’ve ever strayed from known brands like habistat or pro rep. Never ever again.

I liked the size but there is no sticky pad to stick to the bottom of the cage and there are no numbers to state what degree as I have a snake it needs to be at the right temperature but the control knob has no numbers

Got this for the corn snake we have, in addition to the heatlamp we already use. The mat is of a good size 28cm x 28cm and is 14w. The pad itself is quite thin in thickness and is flexible. Really simple and easy to use, put in place and plug in. It heats up quite quickly and gives out adequate heat. It has an adjustable switch dial that not only turns it on and off but adjust the temperature it produces. Easy to clean, simply wipe over. Reasonably priced.

After being plugged in and set to maximum I found this heated up in about 10 mins and was a few degrees above ambient temp which was exactly what I was looking for. The pad is flat and thin and really I cannot think of much I would want to change about it. The price is pretty good, so would recommend.

Einziges Manko, die Temperatur lässt sich nicht wirklich regeln, es geht nur warum oder aus.

Wird gut warm, die rudimentäre eingebaute Temperaturregelung nutze ich nicht, ich verwende eine externe von Inkbird (ITC-308), die funktioniert gut. Die Matte (14W) wird warm genug, um meine Styropor-Gärbox mit 41x41x31cm auf bis zu 42 Grad zu halten. Viel mehr wird wahrscheinlich nicht mehr funktionieren. Also alles nach Wunsch. Reicht für Sauerteig und Joghurt. 32 Grad sind schnell erreicht, für 42 Grad braucht die Matte schon 30min. Für mich perfekt.

Die Matte riecht extrem nach Weichmachern, bei Benutzung wird es nur schlimmer. Selbst nach einem erneuten Versuch nach über fast einem Jahr stinkt die Matte immer noch
