Sun-Glo Speed 6 (Medium Speed Wax) Shuffleboard Table Powder, 16 oz. Can

We have a 9-foot table in our finished basement and the original wax that came with it was more of a speed wax. We were constantly running the stones off the end of the table, and found the surface to be much too sensitive. After doing some reading, I found that going with a slower wax - who knew such a thing existed? - would solve our problems. Sure enough, several months later, we are loving the action on the short table with the slower wax. You concentrate less on not running off the end and more on position. The Sun-glo #6 made all the difference in the world to our short table game. We actually love what used to be a frustrating experience.

Works well

If you've got a short shuffleboard table, this is the powder you've been looking for. Fast enough to keep the pucks going the full length, enough corn meal to help put the brakes on a well shot puck.

There wasn't much explanation, so I though the 6 speed was on a scale of 1 to 10, but it's on a 1-7 scale, so 6 is ridiculously fast. I have a 12 foot table, and I literally could not keep a puck on the table. Its like it has been launched into space and will slide perpetually until the end of time. I ended up ordering the 3 and that did the trick for my 12 foot table. I deducted stars because of the lack of explanation about the speed. I suppose someone might be good enough to play an actual game at this speed, but I can't imagine ever being able to

Arrived on time and as expected. Seems to be good for a short table.

A can of #3 dust came with my table and it was WAY too fast (I’m no pro). This #6 adds just the right amount of speed.

Extreme plowing. Switched to different brand and no problem.

As mentioned by others, the granules are too small and bunch up, the shuffleboard stones DO NOT slide at all on this garbage. Nitpicking, but it's also yellow which my original wax was clear to white, cosmetically unappealing, which I wouldn't care about if it worked but it doesn't so I'm saying every negative.. Completely useless product.
