My first pill cutter. I was told not to expect much, that it's difficult to get them perfectly in halves. When I first got it I was concerned that my little pill type wouldn't fit and it would just crush it. Sure, I read the details here but it didn't look obvious to me what it did. I found the little slider held everything perfectly and just snapped it into place. Two perfectly cut halves, no dust that I could see. I loosen the slider and bump it on my desk a bit to slide the pill halves out of place and just keep them in the sides until I need them. It's a small thing but I appreciate it very much. Haven't tried it with anything bigger. I'm sure that would be a satisfying crunch lol.

I purchased this item to cut up large horse pills my dog had to take. The pill needed to be cut in quarters. I tried other pill cutters and was having a hard time. I ordered this one from Amazon and voila finally was able to get a clean cut. I did have to take my time to place the pill properly but once I did the cut was nice and clean and even. I didn’t try it on any other sized pills so I can’t give an opinion as far as that goes. My pills were large elongated almost oval thick pills and it worked great.

This is the best pill cutter I’ve ever had. They’re right when they say no powder residue or pieces left behind. A very clean cut. Last one I’ll ever own. I’ve done unscored halves and fourths, you’ll be happy with this one. They finally made a good one. A little extra money over the regular ones but it’s not regular, it’s a great one, does the job!

I've cut over 100 round 10mm wide pills and this device which has worked better than any I've tried up to this point. Perfect cuts, very minor residue if any, and fairly simple to use. You can only do one pill at a time but the dual blades really make for a clean cut. You just need to get the feel for the top lid pressure, I put my whole palm on the lid and gently push down for a clean snap every time. I'd almost give this 5 stars since it's so easy to use but it does have a quirk with getting your pill set in the "V" and then sliding the bar back to lock it into place, By the time you get the lid on (since this part tends to move the pill sometimes) you may need to readjust the pill with the locking tab once more (very minor gripe though). This is a "slow and steady" pill cutting process and it produces flawless perfect splits for me every time but If you need to cut a lot of pills, you may want to get one of the splitters that does 4-6 pills at once instead though.

Cut small pills daily- 6 tablets. The precision and sharpness many months later still there. Great product-hardest part is ensuring the pill is aligned properly, and the widest part of the blue cover faces you before pressing down. The ones from pharmacies don't even compare to the accuracy and clean cuts. Love it so much bought a spare despite no sign of dullness yet,

This is a perfect pill cutter. This is the 4th one I've used in the past 2 months. I have to cut some really tiny, really fragile tablets into quarters for my cat and I was struggling to get through the coating without crushing the inside. This pill cutter works like magic. Honestly the double blades are such a game changer. I don't know how it'll hold up over time, but I cut at least 10 tablets into quarters today and was perfect every time. 10/10 would recommend.

I was going to give this a 5star, but it is getting pretty wobbly with use.
