The GoodDoes a decent job of eliminating funky odors, especially musty or other organic smells. So-so on sulphuric based odors like garlic and onion.The BadNot particular effective (long term) for urine or dog odors (e.g., dogs with oily coats that haven’t been bathed in a while that have slept on something - you know, that danky “wet dog” smell). There are much more effective products for pet smells.Some fabrics and plastics don’t like the active ingredient so check an inconspicuous place first before going to town with this product.And finally, virtually ineffective on the rancid oily God-knows-what-spice concoction the roommate cooked with on the stove making the stove exhaust vent smell awful for weeks. Covers it up temporarily, but not permanently.The UglyThis stuff is expensive and leaves a slightly chlorine scent. I wouldn’t say it’s offensive but not particularly pleasant either. It smells better than the odor I’m trying to rid so in that sense, an acceptable trade off. Just wish it had a more neutral, less chemical smell. Wear gloves otherwise your hand will smell like it.Bottom lineEffective for certain but not all smells. Would buy again.
