2-1/2" Inch Chrome Steel Ball Bearings G100-2 Bearings

Not actual chrome, polished chromium steel ball bearing. Very nice finish, no surface imperfections. I made a custom shifter nob out of this. Very hard steel to drill.

It is exactly what I thought it would be. A perfectly spherical piece of solid stainless steel.

These 2.5”-diameter steel balls weigh 1040g (2.3 lbs.). They’re smooth without any surface imperfections.I use them as hand weights during certain arm exercises involving lots of repetition and dynamic movements like swings. While 2.3 lbs. isn’t very heavy, the 2.5” diameter challenges your forearm muscles to maintain a grip. Because they’re very dense, they feel heavier than they actually are, but you get used to it after a while.You need to exercise care so that you don’t accidentally let them fly out of your hand or drop them on something that could be damaged, like a foot.

The description of this product says it is chrome when in fact it is not. It is just polished metal, chrome does not rust especially when exposed to very little moisture. Disappointed!

I love having lots of little trinkets at my desk and this was a great addition. I like it because it weighs almost exactly 1 Kg and I also have a 2" diameter ball bearing that weighs almost exactly 1 lb so it's cool to have the two next to each other to be able to compare the two units of measurement.

I bought these as large Baoding balls because I have large hands and the small ones weren't doing it for me. These are rather nice, large and heavy. Perfect for my purposes. I also waited and got them for a steal.

Item did not have polished, mirror like appearance as with other like items when purchased new. At first glance it looked slightly used. When measured, it passed sphere tolerances and fits well.
