Works great
I had heard this mentioned on a British baking show, but didn't give it much thought, until I stopped to noticed my pizza crusts were puffing up. I got this and started using it on my pizza crusts before baking and it works to keep them from puffing up.It's a great size, seems durable, fairly easing to clean, it's light weight and saves time instead of using a fork. Storage it a little tricky, but I do have one drawer where it does fit.

Super useful for sour dough crackers
We use this to put holes in sour dough crackers that we make with the discard. We used to use a fork, but it took way longer and would usually tear the dough at some point. This is far faster and much more uniform. It's also very easy to clean, which is important given that it's usually got cooking oil on it after being used. It's sturdy and couldn't be easier to use. The tips are blunt - perfect for dough without having to worry about cutting your hands if they get in the way accidentally.

Decent sturdy docker
Okay, so the docker is sturdy. Decent quality. Great for docking individual pizzas on a table or in a pan. Tight spread of spikes. Problem is if you've got 6 or 8 skins on a metal table and trying to dock all of them at once, going from metal to dough gets the dough stuck in the roller. The spikes are too short to be able to roll from table to dough without catching. So if you're pre-docking several dough at a time before stretching them into pans, you'll have to go slower or be more careful. If you're doing one at a time for home use or on screens, this sounds be fine. I dropped it on the floor once and a few spikes pushed in, I pulled them back out with pliers but they aren't as solid anymore. When I first got the docker, the roller fell out. I bent the arms back in a little and haven't had an issue since. Overall, good purchase. The American Metal Craft plastic dockers we usually get tend to break and warp within a month or so. This one is the same price and has lasted longer so far. Spikes could be longer, and I'd like an angled handle. Other than that, decent.

Well made, works well
I've wanted a dough docker ever since I worked in a pizza joint as a kid. I finally found a justification to buy it when I started experimenting making crackers. This one is sturdy and well made. The first batch of crackers came out great, and I didn't have to waste a lot of time poking the holes with a fork. I can't wait to try it on pizza dough! This one is even better than the all-steel commercial ones I've used. It's more compact so easier to store in a home kitchen. The spikes are shorter, thus sturdier. The handle is comfortable in the hand.

No more bubbles!
Must have to help your pizza heat evenly and with those awful dough bubbles. This one is easy to roll across the pizza dough.
