High Quality Five Ply Skillets at an Incredible Value
I ordered this KitchenAid five ply stainless steel skillet set because I wanted to upgrade my everyday cookware to something more professional grade without jumping to extreme high end pricing. I cook often and wanted pans that could handle proper searing, even heat distribution, and oven use. Finding this set listed as like new at nearly half the price made it an easy decision and honestly felt like a Christmas miracle. When the pans arrived, I inspected them closely. The smaller pan looked essentially unused, and the larger pan showed very light signs of prior use with small scratches on the bottom, but nothing concerning at all. The weight and feel immediately stood out. These are true five ply pans with excellent balance and solid construction. The handles feel sturdy and comfortable, and the polished stainless finish looks great on the stove. Heat distribution is excellent and they hold temperature very well, especially for searing. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. These pans perform exactly how quality stainless steel cookware should and clean up easily. For the price I paid, this was an exceptional value and far exceeded my expectations. If you want durable well built stainless steel skillets that perform beautifully, this set is absolutely worth it, especially if you can find them in like new condition.

Perfect size wok
This wok is expensive but it is the only stainless steel wok with an aluminum core that was big enough to keep food from going over the edges while stir frying. It has a very small flat bottom on the exterior but completely rounded bottom on the inside like a traditional wok. It says it will work for induction but because of its shape I think you need a gas burner for it to work well. It is very attractive and well made with a good but not excessive weight to it. It is 5 ply with 3 aluminum cores that go all the way up the sides. The 15 inch size is really nice. I have been using a Faberware stainless steel wok for a number of years but it is too small at 12 inches. The 15 inch size is a big improvement. In the larger sizes you can only get a carbon steel wok or a thin stainless steel one without an aluminum core. As far as I can tell this is the only 15 inch wok available with an aluminum core. Actually 3 aluminum cores which makes it conduct heat efficiently. I think to really do stir fry you need a wok at least this size. Being stainless steel it is easy to maintain. It is very attractive and heavy duty. It looks good hanging up in your kitchen. I am happy with it.

Excellent build quality
Been using it for a while on a glass top cook stove. No issue with wobbling. Heat distribution is great. Given its size i could cook 5-6 pounds of meat in it. But takes a longer time to heat, perhaps given the big size as compared to my regular 4 to 6 quart sized pots. The cooking experience was awesome. Used metal spatula for cooking, tossing, no issue. Left a few scratch mark but this is completely fine as long as they dont damage the interior severely. The outside polish looks marvelous. The bottom scratches easily from the glass top stove but i made my peace with it. Overall Im happy with it, because it comes with the exact round shape i desired for my saute type cooking.

Very glad I got it
My first good pan. I thought cast iron would improve my life but this is so much better. Same quality of searing and so much easier to clean and maintain. Some steel wool scouring pads from Marshalls and even crusted on stuff comes right off. Just follow the stainless steel mantra of heating up until water drops run around like crackheads, add oil and lower the temp a bit if needed. You can scrape it like a maniac to make sauces or clean and it does not care. Not sure if cheaper pans would work just as well, but this thing is doing the job and seems like it will last a long time.

I didn't really want a "set" (10" abd 8") but the price for the set was the same as for the 10"
I didn't really want a "set" (10" abd 8") but the price for the set was the same as for the 10" alone. These are 5 ply is is the best "ply" for even heat dissipation. The pans are hefty and actually feel sturdy and well made. I've seared steaks cooked friend eggs, scrambled eggs, shredded potatoes etc. I generally add a little Avocado Oil or Wagyu tallow to the pan. Follow the instructions in the KitchenAid video here and you will be amazed. I am OCD and I've bought various stainless steel, 3 and 5 ply and coated ceramic nonstick. I usually cook with the Stainless Steel as opposed to the ceramic non-stick because the Stainless Steel can go into the dishwasher IF I WANT. Not so with the ceramic. I w would have saved money if I bought Kitchen Aid in the 1st place. Because I'm so "picky" and the fact that I think these Kitchen Air products are the BEST, I can recommend them.

Wow! Great Fry Pan
Absolutely love this frying pan. Also have an 8-inch pan, as well. NO warping as the pan heats up....remains flat. The 5-layer of aluminum and stainless steel is the answer. All others we had did not remain flat. Be sure to follow the enclosed instructions about LOWER heating temperature and minimal use of butter or cooking oils. Excellent cleaning with soap and water. Well worth the cost...quality costs more and exceeds in cooking.

Bought the 8.25 inch stainless non-stick fry pan for $35.65 SGD. solid build quality (not a light pan), non-stick seems good (but means only can use low-medium heat as high heat will damage the coating). handle attached firmly. wonder if i can sand off the non-stick layer and use as a plain stainless steel pan when it eventually starts to degrade... came packed well, green outer box, brown cardboard box, then the actual KitchenAid box w insets to keep the pan from moving.

Finally settled on a stainless wok that fit the bill. Heavy and seems to be well made. Feels like a quality product. We use this for most of our larger meals now as it fits a lot of food and keeps the oil splatter on the surrounding range and counter to a minimum due to the high sides. Cleans up easy also!

KitchenAid makes some of the best kitchen appliances in the world - mixers, grinders, and the lot. Who knew that KitchenAid would make one of the best woks on the market? Without doubt this is one of the best woks I have used and I have used several from all over the world, including authentic ones from some Asian countries. But this KitchenAid wok, in my experience beats the rest for quality, build, weight, handling and cooking experience. And it may not seem like much, but the actual curvature of the wok is so perfect when cooking that it takes very little effort to stir fry, make fried rice or may other dishes. Only suggestion, if I may, is have some experience with burner control before using this excellent wok, as the heat is being transferred to the ingredients in a fast cook process, medium to high heat. Not a slow cooking process on low heat. One thing that would make this wok even better is if it came in a set of one or two smaller sizes, along with this large one. The wok I received was made in Thailand. First product from Thailand KitchenAid and extremely happy with quality, finish, weight and handling. Strongly recommend purchasing through Amazon, if not buying directly from KitchenAid. Amazon without doubt is the best online buying experience, for peace of mind and excellent customer service, if there are any issues with your orders.
