I love this radio.
Does so much and more. A needed upgrade and replacement for what I had, and SO much better than my stick radio. This is a Kenwood Excelon so you are getting top quality. The options and interface is great, in my opinion. I'm amazed at everything this radio can do and displays. My phone connects quickly, displays all information, and I love the Android Auto. I don't mind plugging it into the unit because it charges my phone as well. I put the external USB port in place of my coin holder and it's the perfect spot, right where I needed it. This completely upgraded my car. I can ask the Google assistant to do whatever I need.

It's GREAT
I have bought a number of JVC double DIN infotainment centers for my cars, 2 previous versions and 2 of this type. All with built-in GPS. This newer version has much better functionality and set up and lots of extra features. Set up for various speaker set ups is easy and customizable, navigation to features is easier, the operating system is way better, the wording is larger, everything works just dandy.

Looks good.
The unit looks good. That’s all I can say because someone decided not to include the necessary wiring harness. Maybe when that arrives, which I had to order AFTER the radio was delivered because nowhere in the description does it say that the necessary wiring harness was not included, I might change my rating.

Great sound.
Lots of features, great sound. Install was easy with instructions from other retailer (Crutchfield). Boots slowly I can only assume due to Linux operating system. Works well with iDatalink Maestro needed to interface with Promaster.

Nearly unusable.
Very difficult to use and radio located at bottom of screen takes up valuable map space and so far I have not found a way to remove it. Not worth the money. I spoke with a Kenwood technician about the screen. He gave me instructions to tap on the icon in the lower right hand corner, I did that and the only thing it does is split the screen. It also gives false directions. While driving straight toward my destination on Ross Clark Circle the gps voice kept telling me to "turn right on Ross Clark Circle." It was professionaly installed by the "SOUND SHOP" in Dothan, AL. It cost me $380 to have it installed and then removed. What a waist of time and money.

Does not have the trim kit for 2006 toyota tundra.
Not sure what part if this head unit fits my 2006 toyota tundra. Maybe the fact it fit in the hole where the oem radio came out of?Other than that, the trim kit doesn’t fit. You have to buy a separate harness to adapt it to your car, i couldn’t find a link to contact the seller to ask about the trim kit.Other than that it seems to work fine. Just looks like an ugly finish.Off to find a trim kit!
