How long should it be left to dry and how long before u can get wet i.e have a shower

Once applied, it should be allowed to dry for 24 hours, ensuring that it is completely dry to the touch. After 24 hours, it can get wet without problems.

Is this suitable for around a shower drain? Last brand I tried basically just washed away.

What is the right way to remove the excess? I have tried a slightly wet cloth but I either remove the grout or push some of the excess onto the grout.

Wipe the cloth along the line of the grout and yes don’t make it too wet or you will dissolve the grout. Don’t worry about pushing more grout into the space where it should be, it will settle. I was very pleased with this product but I do have to stress, you need to thoroughly clean the tiles etc before you apply. Good luck.

Great for a quick fix

Had a few rough grout patches that I wanted to smooth over and this was ideal. It’s also very white so makes it look very fresh, ended up doing the entire shower and it looks great. Has lasted a few weeks now and seems pretty durable.

This sounded like the perfect solution to restore the grout on my kitchen wall tiles. Sadly the restorer was far too liquid and did not stay on the kitchen wall tiles. It might be more suitable for floor tiles. Lovely and white though!Such a pity it didn't work.
