Perfect brush for my line work!

These little Princeton brushes are a good choice for those of us who seem compelled to want to paint the finest possible lines and dots. The very best is the great Winsor-Newton Series 7 3/0--- one of the finest brushes in the known world. But, they are actually watercolor brushes (even though they have long been pressed into service by oil and enamel painters), and they are getting more and more costly. The Princeton 20/0 Monogram is about 1/2 the price and darn near as good. I recommend the Monogram because it has longer bristles than the Spotter or the Round, though not as long as the too long liner. I have some of these that have lasted years, which the W-N's can't usually do. Generally, detail painters use too small a brush, but there are times when only these teeny-weenies will do. A good product at a good price.......

Acrylic Painting

Brush is exactly what I was searching for. Unfortunately, I was a little pi**ed to discover that there was no protective sheath over the bristles and it was inside of a box (about half the size of a shoe box) just rolling and being tossed around until it got to me. Had to remove a couple pieces to make a straight line, but other than that it’s good.

What a lovely little brush this is. It comes to a very fine point, yet the handle is substantial enough to be really comfortable to hold. I use it for detailed work in watercolours and am very pleased with it.

This monogram 20/0 brush is perfect for making hair/whiskers. I use it with watercolors, and find it better than other miniature brushes I have. It is small, 13.5cm in total length, and I preserve it separately for such a brush should be cared for..
